+Lars Grams I know, most of these were taken while I was learning the Deck. I have mastered it a lot more right now, but to keep up the Tachyon part of the Deck, I kept the Seventh One as a focus when it was possible to get it, running 1 in a 44 card Deck ,which is surprisingly not hampering in a Sylvan Deck.
quite many misplays.....i tested 7th one in sylvans too, you can topdeck it with alsei too, when u excavate something and then use alseis ef on 7th one. but 7th one does not work as good in the deck as you think, even with the potential to topdeck it with charity...cause if u use charity to topdeck the 7th one, you are not able to use any excavation eff, or if you do the 7th one will go under deck. so you basically pass a full turn, just to set up for 7th one. and with your opponent knowing that youll topdeck 7th one next turn, they might set the right traps/do the right plays to counter that rank-up...leaves you with a wasted turn and a field that couldve been better.
Misplaying is subjective - not even trolling - as there's not really optimal plays in this game, only options for strategy. Only instance in which missplaying exists is when you could control the field but you didn't, as even someone smashing into things - card wise of course - is part of a personal strategy of that someone
@@xm_heecka.laddder.job_mx5962 I strongly disagree with that statement. There are always plays, that are better than others under the given information you have, and can be considered more optimal than others. For example Game 1, he shouldve let him use Summonersmonk eff and responded with breakthrough kills after that, that way the opponent lost a spell card. And I think we can agree, that its better if the opponent has 1 less card in hand (for maybe future summoner monks using). Therefore using BTS that early was a misplay. Another one for example is the sequencing error at 6:23. he had the combo with lonefire charity and that 1 drop sylvan in hand. Instead of going lonefire into hermittree first, he used charity first before using lonefire, that way he messes up his stacked cards. At other times hes not even using the eff of hermittree at all. That bein said, Im not playing YGO anymore, but another TCG (Force of Will) now. So I can only evaluate the game situations from my earlier YGOo experience, but even then, misplays were definitely made. Cheers :)
