I like it! (And that's saying a lot considering how curmudgeonly I can be when it comes to change. 😝) I also like the fact that you're using Montech's HyperFlow AIO (I *must* have one of those to use in my King 95 Pro!), and I can hardly wait to finish here so I can watch the full build video. 👍🏼
The whole point is better GPU induction and cooling which makes sense. When the GPU takes in air it blow it out the side, often then keeping the hot air inside the case. Having it mounted at the front gives the GPU better intake of air while expending out the mesh in the side of the case instead of over the motherboard and components, keeping the system cooler. What I would have liked to have seen, are two fans on the bottom drawing air up (instead of mirror) and fans (or 240mm AIO) mounted on top for exhaust, and mesh on both sides of the GPU as to expel its hot air directly out both sides.
@ChristopherFlannigan Assuming I want to run dual GPU for LLM, is the riser cable long enough to allow a 2nd gpu to sit in the 2nd PCIE slot and still route to the back to reach the main GPU? Looking at something like a ASUS TUF 3060TI (301mm length) as the 2nd GPU.
This setup uses six exhaust fans and three GPU fans configured as intake, though the GPU fans do not spin all the time. Consequently, the only consistent intake fan is the rear fan, which lacks a dust filter. This configuration will create negative pressure, causing the PC to function like a vacuum, drawing air-and consequently dust-through every opening in the case. This design choice seems questionable, as it will likely result in significant dust accumulation inside the PC.
Every GPU I’ve had the last 5 to 6 years including the 4090 I have have the fan settings to run all the time and then increase the temperature as far as I know the Aio should be an intake and the exhaust of the three set fans in the middle
I was very heavily considering this when it was shown at last year's computex, as I loved the look of the upright gpu and the small footprint. But then the targeted release window (Q4 of 23) came and went, and I got impatient waiting as I'd managed to cobble together enough cash for all my parts in the interim, so I ended up buying an O11D Evo like everybody else, then immediately regretted not getting the Evo XL or waiting for this or the Vision. Having given it a few months tho, I'm glad I didn't bother. Case still looks great, but I think my tastes have moved on. Thanks for the review!
Should prevent sagging of really heavy gpus… I would hope to see a little bit bigger version that would allow full air cooled version of this, instead water cooling…
I cant help but think that it would make so much more sense for the side to be an intake, since it would be trivial to put a filter there, and have the back as exhaust.
I don't get the point in Lian Li giving you that mirror with the case? That should be optional as it probably won't suit 90% of users. They could give you something else instead!
@@bobvila4381 thanks for info! But I would like to see some reviewer do some testing with that in mind. I mean for me suddenly that smaller footprint doesn’t make sense if you need to move it from the wall 6 inches . You do some rendering or just gaming?
Great size! It’s so slim. Perfect for smaller desk. Thermals are great. Looks aren’t bad either. I could get used to it. I’m a huge fan of how slim it is.
You are wrong... its got the best temps of any case I have ever tried. Even the back of the motherboard is actively cooled and temps reflect that. The downside to the case is having to wire it. MB temps were a lot higher in my 011 dynamic due to the 4090 exhaust cooking everything.
Great review, persuaded me to hit the buy button, be interesting to see how the 13900ks and Aseock 7900xtx on with it!

AIO looks good. Montech are making some great products
The case is nightmare to wire but aesthetics and temps are worth it for 4090 users.
Interesting Ideas combined. Video und presentation quality is top notch, as usseal ❤🔥
Thank you 🙌
This channel deserves more looks.
You bet it does! Spread the word! 📢
Thanks, it's getting there
Maybe this will help people to finally stop putting their PC on the ground ...👍

I'd consider it if it were full mesh, or if they released a mesh panel for the TG side.

I wonder how many RTX cards are gonna have issues on the power connector because of how close it is to the tempered glass...

They have dust filters that aren't even needed so nope.

51db for 4070? Are you sure it was the GPU and not a plane taking off? Were the fans set to 100% or something? Sounds like something was broken.

Your Welcome
checked your other review with same hardware, wizmax case .. this case kinda smashes that case in both cpu and gpu temps.. quite interesting..
Motherboards push the CPU differently and I used a different cooler, but I was impressed with this case
Too expensive to have an external fan easy to put your bare fingers on it lmao
How many HDMI/DP cables can fit through the grommet? Some have three or more monitors and from the looks of it, doesn’t look like too big.
The riser cable looks attrocious just being there
I'm sure they will take care of it in V2
I hear v2 will have a wireless riser cable 😂😂😂
I was lead to believe that the Aio would be an intake not an exhaust

Nope... It's got the best temps you can get for 4090 users.
no its not.
Can we install two 360 AIO rad for CPU and GPU at the side panel?

I cant even see the mirror on mine from where I sit.

Not keen on the idea you just have to pass a hdmi/thunderbolt cable through the back of it through a hole?
Yes if your cables are short you will need to by longer cables... plugging them isnt an issue just length.
How would you compare to o11 air mini?
Yet another liam li monster. Keeo it lol
My name ? 😂
Riser cable triggers me if they could sort that out id consider it
Why can’t they make a riser with a single round cable instead of the flat ribbons..is it a technical issue ?
Chris am I going to fry cpu if it sits next to wall radiator side?
No it just needs a few inches for exhaust and its fine...

Not my cup of tea.
Not mine either, but thermals make sense and good to have something new

This has got to be the dumbest case i have ever seen.
0 airflow over ANY critical components inside the case.
