I stood 3 feet away from Jim Morrison in a tiny club in Littleton Colorado almost 50 years ago and watched him perform this very song. He had a presence that was mesmerizing, but you girls do extreme justice to this song.
and luckily, they did not join club 27.
Not only do they do this brilliantly, but it's live, without a safety net!! Talent beyond words.
These two kids are incredible. They do covers of many of my favorite songs of my youth and do them well. I didn't know they existed until a few days ago. I wish them well and continued success.

It's been less than a day since I found them. I love their cover of hotel California where you can still hear an accent. Even as young teenagers these young ladies displayed great talent.

I really respect that during the bass and drum solo Mona & Lisa moved to give the spotlight to the bassist and drummer. Can’t name many who would do that.
I always loved female singers like Cilla Black, Olivia Newton John, Peula Clark, then I discovered these two this week. With their 12 years of recordings. Just blown away by them.

They are wonderful! It appears that Lisa does most of the vocal leads and Mona is perfectly happy with that. So easy to see that they love each other.

Tremendous. I've been watching these Mona Lisa videos and they're fantastic. But this is the first time I saw the bass player and drummer cut loose. They are both excellent. I'm a drummer myself and I was floored by the drum solo here. Great stuff.

One of the first songs I ever sang at karaoke, I never had the chance to see Jim Morrison and the Doors. Went to my first concert at Pocono Mountains July 1972. I hitch hacked there from Niagara Falls NY took me 7 hours by three rides. I was heading to Wilksberry Pennsylvania to help with flood relief and third ride brought me to the concert with them. Because of the flood everyone was allowed in free. Three days of rock and roll I’ll never forget!!!!
This makes a band tight...to spotlight the members of the band....and these two guys are very good.....Thanks Mona and Lisa for giving them the spotlight.....^/^

Nice..... missed seeing the Doors by 2hrs at the 1970 IOW. Buses were infrequent and full from the IOW ferry terminal to the festival site.
This is yet another great cover by MonaLisa Twins. This has a very different vocalization by Lisa than usual, and it was just fantastic! I am so addicted to you guys!

When I listen to the beginning of the drum solo I hear
"Moon, Turn the Tides... Gently Gently Away" from Jimi Hendrix's final studio Lp Electric Ladyland.
They can sing and play the guitars..Talent..
Some of their covers are better than the originals and some of their originals would be at the top of the charts if they were promoted by big name studios. It's a crime that they have not been a household word by now, all over the world.
Takes me back to my college days hanging around the Whiskey A Go Go,..in West Hollywood....

Everyone starts out with covers - you can't expect 11- or 12-year-old kids to write great songs. In fact, it's even amazing how great the songs are, which these two wrote at 15-16 years of age. That is what makes them real *artists*, rather than just a "cover band/duo", even if many people mistakenly think them to be the latter. There are thousands of cover bands and artists out there on TH-cam and some of them are even better than Mona and Lisa at doing covers (check out Mike Masse and Jeff Hall, e.g.). But no one else nowadays does what the twins do with their own music ;)
