I get chill bumps every time I hear these angels on earth. And she totally nails Clapton's guitar lead! I'm 74 years old, a total Beatles devotee, and I'd live another 74 and probably never hear a duo that moves me so much again.
Dido on that. I have just run across these twins and am blown away by their magnificant talent. I am 69yrs old and knew all these songs well in our day. ❤
Mein Gott, die Zeit vergeht. Ich weiß noch genau wie ich eure Version zum ersten Mal gehört habe. 12 Jahre. Wo sind die nur hin. Macht weiter Mona und Lisa. Ihr seit einmalig.
As as a Brit who grew up listening to the Beatles and loving them, it is so great that their music is still appreciated and continued by wonderful young artists like these two.
One of the greatest songs by the Beatles. Written by one that never got the credit he deserved. Wonderfully done by two wonderful (and beautiful) musicians and vocalist.
When asked what it was like being overshadowed when he had so much talent as well, Harrison replied "Are you kidding man? I got to be in a band with John Lennon and Paul McCartney."
@@RS-ni3lj He's talking about Harrison. Truth is George had to cut off the last verse because John was already angry about it, both bringing in Clapton and the obvious fact it was a thinly-veiled attack on Yoko.
Mona and Lisa, you may be the biggest proponents of The Beatles on the planet! You do that by performing their songs with such heart, soul and class that anyone who listens cannot help but be excited about this music! A nourishing journey indeed.
What an amazing cover for two 16 year old girls. Lisa's guitar work is way ahead of her years and her lead voice is spot on. Mona's drum play fits in perfectly, and the harmony is beautiful.
I was in my early-mid 20s when they were releasing their iconic albums. Incredible excitement with each new collection. 50+ years later the excitement and the music remain. SO happy that Mona and Lisa are keeping it alive.
In my tiny, humble, minuscule, but very honest opinion as a guitarist for 46 years of my life... this is THE best cover of this song ever. George would be way more than proud. I listen to the vid at least once a month and it never gets old. Sorry if I've wrecked the view count.
To be honest I can't quite bring myself to like it. Not their fault, technically it's great. But it just doesn't have the same feel as the original. The key change also hurts it.
Its a good cover, not a great cover, but nowhere near the best. Best version is George, Eric, Ringo, Phil the dill Collins, Mark King at the Princes trust concert, that Diana was at. Just pure magic, better than the original . Definitely do not like her tone on that Strat, just sounds thin. Needs an LP or sure. But they did a very good job.f
The biggest compliment I can give the Mona Lisa Twins is that their covers capture some of the stardust that make the best Beatle songs just better than almost everything anyone else was writing at the time or since.
Fantastic cover. These women and remind us just how great the Beatles are. Two women, in what is not their native language, playing songs from 50 years ago can be popular today.
I am 62 years old. I heard the Beatles when they were on the Ed Sullivan show and I was hooked. I have always loved their music so I'm pretty picky when I listen to a cover of any of their songs. I have to say I love your version of one of my favorite Beatle songs. Great job!
Everytime I hear this song, I choke up a bit. George never truly got the credit he so deserved for the beautiful music he made, with the Beatles or on his own. A truly great rendition by two talented musicians. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
This is so wonderful with your great harmonies and musicianship is incredible. George would have given his approval, but more importantly, you have my enjoyment.
Ese tono melancólico, sobre una canción ya de por sí melancólica, las cuerdas de acero de la guitarra, suenan más a acero, contrapunteando, agudos,a la canción romántica
Old enough that I remember when the record came out, and this is the first cover version I liked. Wow! All those years and nobody have nailed it like that. Thanks for keeping that music alive. We who grew up with it are getting too old to keep on rockin'...
Haven’t heard the version with Tom petty and Jeff Lynne at George’s induction into the rock hall of fame - where Prince plays that amazing guitar solo?
You two Twins are so cute! So talented and great together! I'm just an old man, old enough to be your dad.... but I love your videos and energy ! very cool gurls!, I'm a loyal new fan too.
I may repeat myself but...my gosh I've never heard a more spot on weeping guitar. Shows how Lisa has spent the time to master her craft. Each note is perfectly placed with not only Virtuoso precision, but with her interpretation of emotion. And her voice is an instrument as well. Don't even get me started on Amazing Mona. Her rhythms are always perfect whether percussion or guitar or any other. Monas voice is so sweet with a lilting fade and matches perfectly with Lisa or vise versa for that matter. I just moved a truck and trailer full from Nasville to Michigan. 65 and loaded myself, then drove 12 hours to my destination. Needless to say...whooped!! I decided as I always do to spend some time this evening listening and watching MonaLisa Twins...never fails. I am sooo proud of these beautiful, talented young women. They ALWAYS make me feel better. Thank you Father God for Blessing is with Mona, Lisa, and their wonderful family. Exceptional people. Come to Little Bavaria, Frankenmuth Michigan. Beautiful town laid out old school Bavaria...Glockenspiel and all the Accoutrements. You would pack the house at the expo center. Another new and upcoming band from Frankenmuth...Greta Van Fleet also twins. What a show that would be...I'll certainly be there. Come during Octoberfest and there'll be Lederhosen galore. Good times had by all.
It all seems to come naturally to you ladies, singing, guitars, drums, song writing, video making, having a lot of fun and making your fans run the entire emotional gauntlet. Is there anything you can't do and do beautifully? The one thing I am so very happy to see is the amount and quality of memories your family has of your younger years. You are so fortunate to have this. It saddens me to know how I failed to record my children's and grand children's lives. You make me Happy.
Thank you so much Peter!! We're really grateful to have so much of our lives caught on camera, it's great to have these memories recorded ♥ Thanks for listening, M & L
Wooowww !!!! That was gorgeous. The harmony almost made me cry. Im really into harmonies and these are beyond , uuhh , , uuhhh . . .Oh, I dont know, but I do know you impressed the hell out of me. Ive lived through all of the Beatles stages and am very familiar with all of their work and everything else and I am saying that I wouldnt trade my life with any other, even though that means that this Saturday (Aug 29th, 2020) I will turn 73. Your words are poetically as beautiful as the song itself, and how these two beautiful talented genius girls so sublime and amazing entering the soul of our brothers George and John along with the ones Paul and ringo who must cherish these immensely talented Angeles ❤️🧠❤️
These 2 girls is really the female versions of the Beatles. They have the same charisma and charm as the Beatles and are so passionate about what they do! I played in a band in my teens in the 90s and we played at clubs in Scandinavia, we where invited to Hamburg to play at a few clubs, doing Beatles covers and it ended with a few successful gigs in the UK! We where no excellent musicians but compensated it with great love and passion for the songs! These girls are more gifted then we ever where and Im almost addicted to The Mona Lisa twins and their great recordings of their own songs!
I was 16 when the Beatles appeared in 1963. Saw them live in Toronto. Followed them with awe for their entire career. I'm qualified to say to MonaLisa "good job! "

Out of all the covers of this song that i've listen to, this one got to me. And it is becaause they have captured the spirit of the song and not its form. Mona and Liza could sing this song in a totally different way and would still make me emotional because the spirit of the song would still be there. This song will never go out of style, there will always be a new guitarist coming along falling head over heels for this remarkable timeless masterpiece. Well done
It made me so happy to sing the harmonies to these songs like I used to when I was 11-18. When The Beatles first came onto Ed Sullivan, I was 11 years old, in the living room with my parents and grandparents. I as immediately insane for them but never screamed while they sang - I was singing the harmonies as that was usually John's part when singing with Paul!
Two unpretentious and quite lovely young women, who also happen to be extremely talented and charismatic. One more generation gets to hear the great sounds of my youth. Cheerio, Mona+Lisa , from Chicago USA !!!
I get chill bumps every time I hear these angels on earth. And she totally nails Clapton's guitar lead! I'm 74 years old, a total Beatles devotee, and I'd live another 74 and probably never hear a duo that moves me so much again.
OMG I am 71 years old and I thank God that I live long enough to hear your beautiful music you did the Beatles proud and I feel so blessed
Dido on that. I have just run across these twins and am blown away by their magnificant talent. I am 69yrs old and knew all these songs well in our day. ❤
Here at 68 and been enjoying these beautiful ladies music for a couple of years❤
67 here... I was 5 years old and introduced to the Beatles by a slightly older neighbor kid. This music has been in my blood ever since! :)
check out the REO Brothers version
I thank God you are 71 years young Roger.
I love the fact that 2 generations later, true genius is still respected.

The Magic of Harrison lives on and on.
These ladies are so truly amazing. They could sing the phone book and it would be pure gold.
Your so right.and im 78yo they really do do the beatles proud for shure.
What's a phone book?
One of the greatest songs by the Beatles. Written by one that never got the credit he deserved. Wonderfully done by two wonderful (and beautiful) musicians and vocalist.
When asked what it was like being overshadowed when he had so much talent as well, Harrison replied "Are you kidding man? I got to be in a band with John Lennon and Paul McCartney."
The idea that any of The Beatles never got the credit they deserve is hilarious.
They make me want to believe in reincarnation!

These young women are the real thing in an era that has taken the humanity out of music.
George is probably smiling down from Heaven. Beautiful performance.

Can you believe this song is 53 years old, yet it sounds like it was made yesterday...what a beautiful masterpiece George created ❤️
Yeah, exactly. That band was so something else, crazy... Raining immortal hits.
This song could not have been made yesterday because people are not making proper songs anymore
Es de Eric Clapton , George solo colaboró.
Actually the solo was done by Eric Clapton. Listen to his song Layla with Derek and the Dominoes and you’ll figure out what I mean
I was in my early-mid 20s when they were releasing their iconic albums. Incredible excitement with each new collection. 50+ years later the excitement and the music remain. SO happy that Mona and Lisa are keeping it alive.
They are truly gifted. My bucket list includes seeing them live.
PLEASE COME TO NEW YORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me too. I often get back here whenever I'm disappointed about another failed beatles cover. Just to end up on a happy note.
To be honest I can't quite bring myself to like it. Not their fault, technically it's great. But it just doesn't have the same feel as the original. The key change also hurts it.
Perfectly correct
You need to get the mist out of your ears Bro.

It is my educated opinion that they are the best band in Britain and Europe and have been for at least the past five years. They have it all.
When the girls did this video, they were 17 years old. Come on they are awesome.
They were❤
@@anninadinkel3152 Still are...
They most definitely are awesome and beautiful too
Even moreso.
I'm 35, i'm not even close.. 😂
Has anyone heard a single mistake in any of their videos? I've been playing guitar for 37 years and I've yet to hear anything but perfection.
I’ve been wondering how they pick out the parts just by listening or if they watch some of the “how to play…” videos.
Fantastic cover. These women and remind us just how great the Beatles are. Two women, in what is not their native language, playing songs from 50 years ago can be popular today.
George Harrison would be so proud. Like me he'd be sitting with a huge smile on his face watching your talent and skill. I just became a fan.

Don't forget his smoke.
Ditto on every point. Yes, I know this video is now 8 years old but still awesome!
Loving your work as always I hope to see you live 1 day
I think Eric Clapton would have liked it too.
I could listen to that solo for at least another half hour. Beautiful clean Strat tone.
Lisa's Hotel California sounds just as clean. :)
