Unreal, nobody can make and edit videos like you do. Your vids are straight to the point with excellent footage. Outstanding resto and fab work on the parts you create!!!
These vids have helped me out so much. I got a titled 89 RMX250 I’ve been going the whole 9 on. Fasst flexx, asv, powdercoated this and that yada yada. If this series hasn’t helped me with the mechanical aspect, it’s given me help on the style aspect. Thanks for accidentally picking almost the exact same bike to build!
This is amazing! You should have way way way more views because this is the best documented and most well done dirtbike restoration I've seen on TH-cam. Keep up the great work!
I'm mildly restoring a 1990 rm 250 on my channel, but the quality of this series is amazing. Wish I had unlimited funds like it seems this guy has. Haha
Absolutely fantastic! You make it look so easy and I can't wait for the next upload! Love to see how you maintain it when completed. Especially in the wash / post wash procedures.
You are a badass sir! Not only is your machining skills insanely good, your attention to detail is just as good. Your photography/videography along with music selection and voice overlay is just all perfect. I think this series is one if not THE best restoration project I've ever see on YT. Well done and thank you for sharing this with us. Love the bike by the way! Have a new subscriber as well :)
Such a nice bike. My dad and I have a 1976 Suzuki RM250A. I would like to do a full restoration but I don’t have the money. The bike does run. Has the original honing from the factory.I know that it’s because the bike has had one owner: my dad. My dad bought it bran new off the showroom floor in 1976 and raced it for one year. The bike is setup for flat out speed as he did mostly desert racing with a few motocross race before going to college and getting married. But he always kept the bike.
This is the best restoration video online! I have a 2001 rm250 that has been sat in my shed for 6 years!. I am 1 month away from finishing my workshop build then i shall be doing a full restore of my rm just like you have. Can i ask, how much approx on parts has the restoration cost.
Wow, love the fabrication work, makes life and resortation so much easier and interesting, the bike is going to be way better than the factory production finished product. What are your plans for the bike after it’s completed? Looking fwd to the next vid. Cheers.
Thanks for the comment! Not sure what I'll do with the bike once it's done. It'll be presented in a local dirt bike show in October and then I'm not too sure yet!
G9Garage Oh, cool re the bike show, hope you get some vid of that too, keep us posted afterwards re your plans, such a great project and finished bike I’m sure is going to be amazing, thanks for sharing.
Have you got your graphics and seat covers sorted, if not another option if you aren’t aware for all years OEM specc and Factory. www.evo-mx.com/product-category/suzuki/page/8/ 👍
Watched this whole series as you were putting the videos out and now I find myself rewatching every video as I am in the restoration process of my 92 rm250 as well. Did you use the Excel # ICS-408 rim on the front? I only happened to catch the part number for the rear wheel in the vid. Thanks for any help, looking forward to the new series from you.
Sorry to pester you, but I notice all your bolts have a great finish, is this a aftermarket bolt kit, or did you sand blast and zinc coat every engine bolt etc, I see, know you did the axle and swing arm bolts etc all came out incredible. But that finish in the engine cover bolts and other smaller areas really makes the bike as it should be, factory saves money on cheap finishes on bolts I know, really makes the project though.👍
All of the small engine bolts are new OEM Suzuki where possible. They aren’t that expensive and you can’t get much closer to the factory finish than bolts from the factory!!!
Hello guys, i had those STD Takasago Alu rims but the rims was like "going up and down" when rotated .. how do i fix these rim? Seems like the spoke didnt have longger thread for me to pull some more when truing it. Do you thing if i temporary replace with longer threaded spoke, so tht it could pull much more will correct my rim? Cheers
I'm rebuilding my own '92 RM250 but a few parts have been discontinued. I need to replace the left hand rear axle spacer but I can't find one anywhere. Unfortunately I don't even have the old one to take measurements from in order to replicate. Is there any chance you still have your mock up of the spacer you fabricated and can share it's dimensions? The inner and outer diameters as well as the flange and wall thickness I can copy from the right hand spacer but the axial length of it is what I don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It's simply more content for people who like this stuff. And yes, g9 is better, ya tool. We all work hard to be creators but you wouldn't understand that.
Watch the whole playlist and waiting for next episode ! impressive check this website en.impex-jp.com/catalogs/moto/suzuki-other/RM-250.html maybe you can find some spares there
I don't know what's more gorgeous the bike or the editing in these videos?
You did a awesome job at explaining how to put the spokes back on to the rim and hub thankyou
Another great video. I need a shop like yours. Make my life a whole lot easier.
I love seeing someone's attention to detail, sure am keen for the next video
Bulding your own custom part is so damn nice. Best restoration series on youtube

I wish I had the same tools
can you share how make the alightment tool for the rim
sweet as fuck, top work mate she is super classy.
Did the sprocket side have a different size bearing as the brake side?
Same size bearings but the sprocket side runs two of them back to back.
G9Garage thanks! Just finishing my 97 rebuild!
It will take me several years to true a rim, my OCD simply will not allow anything but 0mm :)
