This time on the channel we go over our recent mod to the sur ron ultra bee and do a range test. How do street tires affect the range? Milk Racing 17” Supermotos
Awesome vid. I just got an ultra bee and a great deal on some flow wheels today. I’m hyped and can’t wait to learn the balance point. How do you get over the fear of falling back? And once you hit balance point how much grace room do you have before you have to tap the back brake? I have my engine deceleration on 3 I think and I am learning on sport mode with the throttle on the spongy setting. Thanks bro awesome vid be blessed
Congratulations on getting a ultra bee! Learning wheelies is an art and you are going to whip out but that is the best way to learn. Balance point is learned by feeling, is all about having the brake on a little bit until you need it. Then using gas and brake to keep it in balance point.
@@voltsgarage thanks man. I ride a gas husky on the weekends here in Florida at croom but been wanting to learn balance point wheelies for a lifetime. I could do staggered wheelies on my R1’s but this surron is sketch for some reason lol. You kill it though man thanks for replying. Any other advice lmk!
Damn I’m way too scared to pressure wash the bike lol. How many times have you done that?! I usually take battery out and put a rubber glove with tape over the power cables.
I do it on all my electric bikes and have never had a problem. The key is to use a low psi pressure washer and don’t concentrate the water on any electrical components like the battery connections and controller.
Thanks man! Yeah I ran the sumos for about a month on the stock power train. Worked amazing! Only upgraded due to the fact I ride with big street bikes and need to keep up. I got about 30 miles of range on stock power with those wheels
@@voltsgarage Nice, so you didn't notice any significant power loss over the stock wheels? Wheelies on those tires look like a dream, is that the 3.5" in the front? I saw you said 4.25" in the rear. 👍
@csheff15 there was some power loss but nothing crazy, I was still able to wheelie with ease. I went a 4.25 rear and 3.5 in front. If I was to do it again I would go a 3.5 rear and a 2.0 or 2.5 in the front
I'm curious, other than the prices differences... whats the weight difference between milk race and warp 9 and KKE 17' rims? I'm about to purchase my ultra Bee in March hopefully..
I believe the weight is about the same. The main difference I found is the price and the fact that milk is the only people that carry the 4.25 in the rear.
you really do that cleaning with battery inside....uhuuu* thats not my understanding of safety... i like the supermoto tires...locks great yout audio quality of voice is very bad ^^,
Nice control
Thanks man
I love the videos, Man I’m subscribed what top speed did you get with the toro controller with the stock battery?
Have not tested that but you can change all the setting with the Torp app for more speed.
Great vid. What size tires are you running on those 17 inch rims?
140 in the rear 110 in the front
keep up the amazing work where did you get the wrap from its looks amazing

Sick build dude. Did you ever run the stock battery/controller with those upgraded sumo wheels? Just wondering about performance loss.
Thanks man! Yeah I ran the sumos for about a month on the stock power train. Worked amazing! Only upgraded due to the fact I ride with big street bikes and need to keep up.

@@voltsgarage Yeah? Are the widths you have a little overkill for the bike size? you think 3.5"/2.5" would be the sweet spot?
@csheff15 yeah I think they are overkill. Don’t get me wrong I like them but I think the other sizes will be the sweat spot.
What battery do you have?
80.5v 73ah Ewatt

Are you running the 4.25 in this video
@Makoa51 yup
what size is the front rim?
@TysyTube 3.5
Great vid bro, please lose the music. I actually landed up putting on captions and muting the vid. Im not hating, just a suggestion homie.
Thanks for the suggestion, is my first video ever lol
How much do you weigh? I'm lucky if I get 20mi out of my stock battery.
I weight 200lbs and have quite a bit of weight in gear. Also still have the stock charger under the seat.
@@voltsgarage my stock battery must be shit.
@zekd I am already upgrading lol
I went with milk wheels too
How long did they take for you? Mine took 4 months
You guys were gooning all over the place. I would have been arrested if I did that in my small town
We do get away with a lot, but that goes without saying there has been some problems 😜
What size rims width
Rear is a 4.25
