Made this cake this evening and it came out perfect!!! This is a really great recipe! The cake came out nice & beautiful! Very tall cake, smooth with perfect texture/flavor. So glad it was in my feed. I appreciate the tips as well. Cake was moist and just perfect. I had tried other recipes online (not his)and they were no where near as good as his recipe. The cream cheese evens out w the butter. Other recipe that I tried from online not his of course, was all butter and too much of it was not good. This recipe was Definitely a nice even consistency and not a heavy cake.

I'd imagine anyone who lives in a rational country that uses the metric system would similarly use a scale. How would you use volumetric measurements if your country doesn't have a volumetric measuring system?

sooo since I have had such success with your recipes, I looked for a lemon poppyseed bundt recipe. Im combining your pound cake and this recipe, well not all the ingredients of course, but lemon and poppyseed and including both baking powder and baking soda. I really hope it comes out, Reason why Im not using your pound cake is because the ingredients won't fill a bundt pan. Whenever I bake a Bundt cake, my French neighbors go crazy. They love them! I wish I could make this, but block cream cheese is something I cannot find here.
I made this two days ago and It really is the bundt cake of any dreams. It only gets better two days later. I followed the recipe by the book and for some reason, the batter was soupier than in the video so I panicked but the end result is the exact same. So don't be alarmed if it happens to you. Not sure what caused it, perhaps because it was 23 degrees inside and it was kinda hot or John made a mistake haha joke.

We always use a scale here in the UK. Measuring cups are unknown! I’ve always wondered how accurate they can be.

I used buttermilk instead of whole I used specialty sugar instead of cane I used cake flour instead of reg love this ❤️

You can make your own! Curdle some milk (or cream) and drain off the whey, then process the curds until their smooth! Add salt if desired.
