In the first build (actually any Speaker's Sight build) you should always swap Touch of Flame with Heat Rises. Who isn't a Warlock main may not remember that Phoenix Dive with HR active grants Restoration x2. If you eat your healing grenade, you spawn a turret in that spot, so, eat the nade, use Phoenix Dive and boom, you still have both the turret and Restoration x2 plus all the benefits from Heat Rises (eating it gives Cure x3 as well, btw, so it works as panic button too). Also, it's funny but interesting to note that while Song of Flame is active, you can still eat those nades and spawn like 5 turrets in a row. It's a bit more tricky, but it works better both solo and in a team, since you now have 3 different means to get either Cure or Restoration. If you learn how to chain those three, Ember of Benevolance will also proc three times, lasting longer and giving back basically both the nade and the class ability energy, ofc in a team scenario. Needless to say the other aspect HAS to be Hellion. As for weapons, Red Death is kinda overkill, but it carries hard in GMs, being the only way to grant Restoration x2 to your allies as well, which will then get refreshed for all the team thanks to the turret. Remember that any Restoration source refreshes whatever Resto you have up at the moment. Same as with Karnstein: you do a finisher, get x2, then any melee kill will extend the Resto x2, even though it normally activates the x1. This means, again, that Touch of Flame isn't necessary at all, since between Phoenix Dive and Red Death the Warlock will always have an easy access to Resto x2. Of course, it's way simpler having Touch of Flame and using other solar primaries for a more direct build, but this loop here that I've explained is the best "offensive healer" we have at the moment, imho.
I've tried this route but there are some drawbacks. Using Touch of Flame allows for instant x2 Cure compared to the charging time of consuming your grenade and is sometimes needed. It also allows turret placement and since healing turret only spawns one seeker every 3 seconds, you want to have it close to your allies so Ember of Benevolence procs while you're busy killing ads and proccing Empyrean. 100 Discipline and 3 procs of Benevolence with the initial throw means you will never run out of healing turrets (even more with Innervation/Bomber mods). Lastly you're loosing the x2 Cure which makes a big difference, 120hp every 3-4 sec is huge compared to 60hp. Like you said Red Death is overkill at this point and doesn't have the scorching capability of Tommy's in that build or Aberrant Action (which is a much better choice IMO) and so doesn't synergize with chain ignitions. Edit : And Phoenix Dive is only 3 seconds of x2 Resto compared to 4 with Healing grenade and I'll gladly take 1 more second to assure Empyrean proc.
@Samy-gy3en these are all valid points and indicate the validity of both builds. Heat rises enables song of flame to become a super duper Well of Radiance. Keep consuming your grenade to make about 6-7 healing turrets which enables the rest of your team to focus on whatever they want. You keep distributing 2 seconds of resto on staggered timing, so it lasts 2 seconds, falls off, starts again half a second after, and so on, for almost maximum uptime on resto. While your build does synergize with the non heat rises grenades in the way you mention heat rises enables you to have more melee uptime with also less strength investment. It loses out on some team healing true, but not so much that it feels bad, but it gains the ability to dish out more damage
Dude not even gonna talk about the second build its absolute dogsh*t but the speaker's helm build is god tier,,, gonna be honest when i first saw the exotic i thought it was gonna be absolute dogsh*t as well but it surprised me with how good it is but about the ignitions you can make it x1000 times better just by incorporating heat rises instead of touch of flame, you still get x2 resto by consuming your nade (and it also drops a turret on the spot) and then phoenix dive which gives you the x2 resto then go ham, you get your melees every second due to heat rises so more ignitions, your phoenix dive scorches targets while you have heat rises active, hell even consuming your healing nade scorches target so way more ignitions and funny part is the exploder thralls and tormentor cant even touch you as you are floating 10 feet above them. It even works in GMs and endgame content perfectly. I've been using this exact build just with sunshot instead since it stuns overloads this season, ever since I discovered it.( And a cool little interaction which you probably didn't know when you have heat rises equipped you can consume your nades during song of flame thus spawning infinite healing turrets if you're into that). I will admit I haven’t unlocked Euphony yet so this is more of a proof of concept, but I think it fits the apotheosis/star eater class item better
Euphony is just so niche in its use though. Alot of times these bosses move so much so youre not able to hit crit consistently so you lose ALOT of damage.

Skyburner's oath is better for the solar build in my opinion, scorch on contact, way more ignitions, constant uptime for pheonix dive with ember of singeing for constant uptime for the healing turret and hellion, no need for ember of empyrean because of this if you have teammates. Ember of Ashes (More scorch), Searing (More melee regen and grenade regen with firesprites, no need for Char because Skyburner's has an AOE scorching hipfire)/ Torches (For radiant), Benevolence (Ability uptime), and Singeing (Class ability uptime). Song of Flame, Hellion and Touch of Flame, Pheonix Dive, Snap, Healing Nade, Speakers Sight, Mountaintop (What I use) or any special you want, Skyburner's Oath, Apex Predator (What I use) or any damage heavy you want. Immortality for the whole team, and some lovely damage for yourself as well. Bungie, give Skyburner's Oath a better catalyst please.
This build with Starfire Protocol and heat rises for the phoenix dive scorch, is bonkers. Unlimited nades and melee for scorching, which also gives you unlimited class ability dives for hellion + scorch on landing with plenty of healing. Unbeatable, just float forever spamming nonstop ignites as hellion can chain ignite itself.
@@blackmamba3060 I dont rely on empowered rift for nades, I have 100 disc/str/res and my mods always refund nades on melee kills and melee on nade kills, and grenade on rift usage, that alone is basically 100% uptime for nades, since every nade kill grants me a rift.
Can you explain how that works when there's no empowering rift synergy?
@@blackmamba3060 I dont rely on empowered rift for nades, I have 100 disc/str/res and my mods always refund nades on melee kills and melee on nade kills, and grenade on rift usage, that alone is basically 100% uptime for nades, since every nade kill grants me a rift. I know i am not using a major part of the exotic, but it isn't needed. I never have a nade or rift on CD.
@@saladin7467 This sounds really interesting, can you suggest the mod build for that
If you ever wanna try something fun with Tommy, try using Tommy with Rain of Fire. You never reload.
if I got a dollar every time cross says he's not a warlock main lol
Guardians made the Traveler light continue to bless you on your journey. Have a nice day, guardians ☀️✨️✨️✨️
You can see how the Well nerf has allowed other builds for Warlock to shine.
24:30 disagree, when making builds having different options presented really helps people who dont have everything & makes it alot easier for us to substitute different stuff...i get why you want a short & right to the point explanation for your videos but having more detail in the build really helps
12:17 peak warlock team
This is your best series!
precious scars + Tommy's is my favorite thing to run on titan
why are u using bolstering detonation on a healing grenade build? does it work when activating the nade?
I dont know these builds are mid compared to what potential warlocks have
Dude, Cross. Activate prismatic then pop super. Get those prismatic grenades cooking
Can you still get shiny weapons from onslaught?
no, nor is it the right place to ask
I bet touch of malice feels great with speakers mask on prismatic warlock with stasis torrent and devour 🤔.
I can't help but think two tailed or Deathbringer could've been a better exotic weapon for that second build and use any other energy pulse rifle. Still wouldn't be great, but it's be better, maybe
Cross solod that GM with the speaker sight build lmfao
Brother, why? Deer God. That second build. Just….don’t hurt yourself like that.
That first build shouldn’t even have a number rating. Not to say it’s not good, it’s dope(I’d just use a GL for some boss dps instead of machine gun), but this is a certified FUN/10
Because who doesn’t like big solar explosions?
Second build could’ve used kovostov & aberrant action
13:20 I hate it when it happens to me 😂
Wouldn’t swarmers with quick silver synergize for the tangle takedown
They do but swarmers already let you make tangles easily and the cooldown on tangle creation means you probably wont be making any more than you already would be without quicksilver
I've never wanted to be third more in my life
Nezarec sin would have helped the 2nd build since he was using graviton lance
I like Bleakwatcher on Prismatic but I use Buried Bloodline to get Devour and equip Helion. Survivability and damage is much better
19:20 when cross killed his teammate
When did cross start lying? “I’m not even a warlock main”
Change super to tilde, transcendence on ctrl+tilde.
You're welcome.

Mouse 4 = use
Im just waiting until someone puts in a Mataiodoxia prismatic build. All three champ types covered by easily spammable abilities. Weapons are literally free for whatever.
The Speaker Helm does it job Support.. but as a Warlock I want to Levitate some shit and Slam them against the Wall/Floor
Funny saying they have warlock devs at Bungie when last year we were saying bungie hates warlocks because all we had was well and sunbracers. Oh, how the tables have turned lmao
Been rolling this solar build for GMs since they released, nullify/call better weapons though.
Use swarmer prismatic lock. It's so good. I can clear everything solo
And suddenly it becomes painfully clear why Lorely’s didn’t need the nerf it got.
Howvare you making tangles with the call ? Do all strand weapons make tangles ?
He's severing one or more of them with Arcane Needle. When they die, they spawn a Tangle. Knowing the Tangle is on the way, he's using The Call so he can hit it straight away! Plus Demo on The Call to help refresh the nades 🤌🏻
Are there any Osmosis Snipers? I feel like that would be crazy with first build and this Act in general.
Succession, Defiance of Yasmin, Praedyth’s, and Shephards Watch
Does the Warlock build works on GM?
Short answer: yes - it carries the entire thing.
Replace graviton with buried bloodline maybe?
I love how Titans like to act like they havent been severely broken in some way since _at least_ D1 Taken King when hammers was BROKEN AS SHIT. I think it had 65-70% dr and the explosions killed for miles.
Since then, they've never not had some crazy broken build(s). The list is crazy.
They get 1 mid season/update and lose their shit.
Can't seem to find an answer anywhere so asking here... Graviton will shoot through shields on PvE with Hunter and Titan... But it won't with Warlock... Can someone tell me why or is it a bug?
Consumer your grenade while using song of flame
