I am Mexican, but will always have love and respect for the Chamorro people and the Island of Guam. Bad ass warriors with beautiful traditions and culture🇬🇺💪🏼🇲🇽
Chamorro-mainlander brotherhood forever (Carolinians, Samoans, and mainland Chamorros, too!). Never forget that the Chamorros of CNMI are Americans by choice. They could have pursued independence, like the rest of the former Trust Territory, but such was their love for our country, that they elected to merge their destiny with ours. Like our other Pacific brethren, we should be forever grateful for their incredible patriotism.
Chanting and dancing was a very important activity during pre-contact time. Shamans would use chants to help warriors into skirmishes, and dancing was use as a way to enforce and improve your status in your clan. Our original dances were erased by the Spaniards, but dancing is apart of our culture no matter how many taotaolagu say it isn't
