It'd be one thing if she is just taking a while to respond to seem less eager, it's another if she is ignoring your messages all together. Regardless, you must respond in the same way and let her reach out to you. If you contact her and she ignores your message, then the ball is in her court to reach out to you. Plus I hope you are using the phone strictly for the purpose of setting dates and not trying to get to know each other.

You have to be busy enough with your own life that you genuinely don't care about whether she responds to a text. Your purpose cannot revolve around her.
That's one of the drawbacks with texting, it creates this expectation of continuous availability, which is insane. Far better to text only when necessary as opposed to using your device for nothing more than idle small talk. Both partners need time and space to live their lives. Blowing up a phone with texts only results in annoying the recipient (and rightfully so).

The way I see it, is if you have enough time to use the bathroom, you have enough time to text your SO back. Being "too busy" isn't really an excuse. If she hasn't text for a couple of days then it's time to end it.

I'm currently dating a woman who does this to me a lot, but I've never let it bother me, and I've never chased her. I don't even persue her, she intiates all the text convos. We see eachother almost every weekend, and everything is always great when we're together, so until that changes I just assume she's busy, which is fine b/c I don't like texting anyway.
She disrespects you, you ignore her and when/if she comes back, she has to pay the penalty for her disrespect. And make sure that penalty is a hefty one.

Many reasons why this happens. I always treat it as a test to see how I would react. So I just continue to focus on myself, my purpose.

Now you're very sleepy and fall asleep on the couch. You feel nice and wan't to tell your girl you had a very fun time but then you see your phone 20+ messages of your girlfriend saying you cheated because you didn't respond to her and also didn't send a text while partying, the fun mood you had is now completely gone. Now flip the script this is kinda of what this guy does.

Very similar to my story. I’m 32, girl is 27. Our parents arranged our date. We dated for 5 weeks, all was amazing. We also had amazing sex. I had to go back to another Country after that. Texting became slow from her end & eventually I made a mistake of confessing feelings! Msgs completely stopped after that. She has been ghosting me for 3 months now. It seems over. This is exactly what’s happening to me but I never thought about that she might be trying to hide how much she is obsessing over me, interesting.
For guys who are having this issue, texting isn’t what I would pay attention to. But I would behoove you to look at these things:
-does she still want to see you?
-does she still do nice things for you (make dinner, buy gifts, etc…)
-when you are together does she seem normal?
-does she still want to have sex? (Can be a big red flag but also some women just straight up don’t feel like it sometimes so it’s hit or miss)
-does she break dates?
The number one red flag that I’ve always found that you know something is wrong is if she breaks a date. If she does that that means her attraction has dropped significantly and you need to build it up again fast or else she will be gone within a month or so. Imo this is by far the biggest thing to watch out for.
