This finally had the answer for me about why my heads would separate and more importantly, how to fix them!! I thought it was something I did wrong, so I'd constantly start new projects. THANK YOU!!
@SimonePixel, I think I have found a way to make 5.5 crash less, I have changed to DX11 and it seems to be more stable, just need to switch to DX12 when making the face animations😃
@@SimonePixel I have it ON DX11 apart from when doing the lip sync animations (dx12 is needed for that) its not crashed now for some time, would crash often before, also seem to have less rendering issues
I am using the lip sync and body animation for a Halloween Movie I am making and your tutorial has been a great help thank you, you deserve a lot more subscribers, btw it's now possible to install quixel bridge to the 5.5 engine to add metahumans, also if you can find a way to remove the background hum from your voiceover it would be appreciated
Good to know about Quixel. Thanks for the heads-up! The background noise on my voice-over is from a ceiling fan or my A/C unit. Since its live I can't remove it sadly. It won't be an issue now that its getting cooler where I live.
I looked for Bridge and it is still not available for 5.5. It was in there when I first installed the preview, but later disappeared. I looked around and its not available to install. Please let me know if you know of a source for that. Thanks!
@@SimonePixel I have quixel bridge in my library collection I clicked install to engine 5.5 when I look at it now it states installed to all engines, hope that helps, ps if you haven’t got all the content I’d recommend getting the script that’s available
Hi there. I would imagine that Unreal is working on something like that, but haven’t heard about it if they are. If I come across any info I’ll let you know.
Hi there! Thanks for watching. LiveLink doesn't make an app for Android right now. I've heard rumors that they may someday. In the meantime you can buy premade facial mocap just like you can buy body animation sequences. Below is the best one I've found so far. I will be using an animation from it in my livestream tonight as well. The pack is on the Unreal Marketplace and its called "Animated Mocap Facial Expressions". It's not free, or cheap, but they work great. You have to retarget them to your metahuman just like body animations. Watch tonight to see how. @@intherightmind9467 I’m pretty sure it can. The lipsync animation sequences are really no different than the body animation sequences. I only do cinematics in Unreal right now though so I don’t know how that works.

Glad it helped! It frustrated me for a long time too.
It's a great tutorial and it saved my time! Thank you Simone

Mine is already set to DX12 and still crashes quite a bit. Sounds like you're having better luck than me with that. Might just be my computer.

@@MIGHTYANDYMAN I was able to grab it the week the script came out. :P Thanks again!
keep going
Will do! More to come. Thanks for the encouragement. :)
hey, do u know if it's possible to do it in runtime maybe with some custom c++ code?

Do we have alternative to live link face app for facial expressions for metahuman, specifically for Android users?
