Hello folks! Some recipe notes: •Use good quality, sweet, ripe mangoes, not sour ones; this will prevent curdling. •Upon adding the corn flour, cook the mixture well, for 4-5 minutes. [Quarter cup=4 Tbsp] Taste the mixture to check for flavour; if the cornflour taste persists, continue cooking. The lime juice added at the end gives a lovely flavour, and since the milk is already thickened by cornflour, it doesn't split. •Setting of the pudding depends on the proper quantity of corn flour and cooking of the mixture. •After pouring into moulds, cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 Hours (do not freeze) •If no moulds are available, just pour it into glasses, cool, chill, and enjoy. I haven't tried substitutes for cornflour. Stay Safe, and Well :) Thank you!

I think the aim here is to make everything natural. I wouldn't add vanilla because it doesn't go well wit mango. Custard powder is starch too, but has colours and chemicals in it...

Also vanilla & mango ice cream exists, along with places that make vanilla & mango smoothies & believe it or not there are even recipes online for muffins, cakes, slices & even a mango vanilla custard, so I'd hazard a guess that most people, like myself, actually find vanilla & mango extremely compatible. Custard powder is starch too, but those "colours and chemicals" are as natural as you or I, the yellow is tartrazine which is just a salt. The vanilla flavouring will either be from actual vanilla or derived from a few types of tree bark.
I tried this recepie ... I want to share that it became good in look but in taste there is taste of cornflour so while putting cornflour in it firstly heat the milk and cornflour mixture in separate container after that u mix with mangoes ...

I have make it but I have whisk it with hand and I have given so much sugar so it taste was very sweet .and I have not given lemon juice at last because it was not available that time. And it was like pudding only. But I have make it in steel bowl.And before poring the mixture I have forgotten to grease oil 🤣😅
Honestly this definitely works for me after freezing for around 5 hours my texture has also come like yours without gelatin, agar agar or china grass just with corn flour but this doesn't give a pudding structure in 2 hours it takes at least 5 hours and it tastes fabulous thank u for this amazing recipe
@@shepherdfrancis6331 Don't even keep by mistake, it curdens and becomes watery it fully damages. I made 2 and kept one of them in the normal fridge and one in the freezer... that's why I am telling you

@Sonika singh hey I don't even knew this channel before nor I have any personal enmity with it. This was my first video and I was glad to know the recipe and was really excited to try it out. But unfortunately, it didn't work out that well though I did everything same that was shown in the video. It was not only me but I witnessed several others comments saying that it did not set. That is why I had been warning everyone else to try at their own risk 'cause I tried and ruined my 2 mangoes! (Although didn't ruin actually, I added more corn flour to it and it turned out to be chewy not like a regular pudding texture). Thank you. Edit: I was so disappointed that I wished someone would have warned me the way I did. I even commented to seek help but Florency didn't reply to my comment. 🙂

@@mariyam.s-61secc62 yeah I did try with the aromatic bellary organically grown mangoes. Mine turned out to be a little sticky. But it tasted very good. In addition to a little sugar I added a bit of jaggery as well. We are having it with a small scoop of Natural ice cream.
Just the appropriate season for The Queen to step down. And she does it with grace and melody as she is stripped off her peel. A very versatile fruit that offers a wide variety of pickles, juices, icecreams and now a Delicious Pudding. At the end of the process she still wears the crown so well set on a dish with garnish. Made this with frozen Goya mango pulp and it was delicious. Will try it with fresh mangos when they are in season and available.

@@mariyam.s-61secc62 yeah I did try with the aromatic bellary organically grown mangoes. Mine turned out to be a little sticky. But it tasted very good. In addition to a little sugar I added a bit of jaggery as well. We are having it with a small scoop of Natural ice cream.
