- This is an explanation on how the Intake Bridge Control Element works on a Mercedes A150 w169 generation . The same system is named on other cars as Intake Manifold runner Control Valve .
So in this video I wil present you how to Test this system and a couple of general things which might help you understand how it works .

Hello my dear. sorry if I'm always asking. l 5.13 minute that valve (I think it's a non-return valve) I did your same experiment but it didn't hold (the air passes in both directions) what exactly is that valve called to be able to buy on ebay? sorry for the inconvenience but you are the man who makes videos so useful. and thanks to your videos I'm starting to understand

I realized that it is a non-return valve and I looked for it but I could not find it. and at the fime I saw that they sell one but it is branded for BMW. however I opened it and made it work my now I just have to seal it.

@@doit_vehicles the solenoid I set to attach it to 12v and it works. I made a foot because it was all bent. surely the owners of the first will have had the solenoid touched. for what I didn't hear him taking because he didn't make contact. today I put it all together and then I'll let you know
Hello doit.. your videos are so informative keep the good work. Got a mercedes a200 sport 2014 and the engine light come on with code error p200a21.. what do you think, manifold intKe actuator that triangle part? Or just the intake manifold full of carbon? Any other sensors giving wrong readings to the ecu? Dpf se sensor? Please help.. many thanks
If it's a gasoline engine than small chance to be carbon . The best is to check the easiest things and start with inspecting the live data , checking the voltage values ... than if nothing is found remove the intake manifold and inspect the flaps
@@doit_vehicles thank you for quick reply.. its a diesel.. only thing I can check now it's live data, sensors and stuff but I don't know what should be the normal values of each parameter to check if you could help in pointing wich one and what values I should be looking for.. and then volts same thing what to check and what volts.. many thanks for the help.. got one of those obd2 yo check on my phone.. thank you

I have w169 a170 2005 car
Took it to mechanic got car back as i gave he replaced feul pump coilpacks but car doest sound like it's running on cilenders any more...
However idle is jumpimg around and i get po101 code mass flow...
Clean it stil problem throttle body clean and intake bi cracks or leaks
What can i do to solve this

O and car has basically no power when ecalerating
Do some more in depth analysis on the MAF if you have a scan tool if not with a voltmeter check the voltage values to see if it responds
I also have a Mercedes w169 A150, I have a problem with it, when slow driving in a traffic jam, as if it lacked power, e.g. in the first gear I keep the gas pressed gently and the car accelerates and immediately slows down and still drives normally at higher revs. There are no mistakes. Does this engine have an EGR valve? Where to start the diagnosis? I will be grateful for your help.
Do you know where the purgue valve is located ? OEM numner A1694700193.
I have read that idle and rumour sounds improves a lot more quietly
