I saw the video with Julie yesterday demonstrating leg Strengthening exercises! She is Amazing!! So strong and athletic! I immediately incorporated those into my routine today, as I really want to strengthen my legs and hip! I'm 63, fairly fit, and really Love all these exercises as I am So Benefitted when I make time to do them! I love these abdominal exercises too! I hope Julie becomes a regular on the videos! She, and You Brad, are how we all want to age, fit, healthy, and vibrant! I'd love to join her bike group but I'm in Port Washington Wisconsin, work weekends, and not sure that would work. But anyways, Thank you again! Great work!!! 🎉🎉🎉👍👍
Thank you , Bob and Julie I am 68 an mywaist and upper stomach is where I can not easily lose weight. II keep putting on 5 lbs at a time and haven’t been able to lose. I am going to start doing your easy in the chair excercises and I 🙏 my desire will be to keep going and I ll see a change in weight and movement abilities.
I've been doing the marching and leg lifts while sitting and a few other seated exercises, but I haven't noticed any difference. But I did the beginner exercises along with Julie and I can really feel the difference. I'm 79 and have been through PT several times in the last fours years, and while I became stronger, it did nothing for my core. Thank you Brad and Julie.
You guys are great🙏🏾💪🏾. And you’ve been so #Faithful Brad through the years and or in absence of Bob, keeping the exceedingly invaluable knowledge gleaned for exercises flowing. My prayers for Bob’s recovery + with Mediterranean Ketozone diet (that eliminates inflammatory foods: Wheat, Sugar, Starch) God willing Bob can reverse diagnosis. God’s Blessings to you all🙏🏾🙏🏾.
Great workout for me. This is what I was looking for. Brad, you married up. Julie, your figure is awesome! Thank you for getting a fantastic model. I will be doing these. Say hi to Bob. I miss him but Julie is much better to look at than Chris.
Really helpful and definitely going to start this! Thanks a bunch. Only I wonder if you should add taking deep (Jack Lalane-like) breathing to accompany (but no organ play please! remember that? 🙄). I do best when I remember to breathe more, I'm 73. Julie is perfect in this 👍
(Yoga therapist here) Don’t forget to start with a little dynamic movement / easy stretching before beginning any exercise and finish off your ab routine with some static stretches such as gentle arches (the seated cat / cows would be great here, held for a few breaths), twists, lateral bends and forward bending positions, each held for a few deep breaths (at least 10 to 15 seconds) are all nice ways to cool down and compliment core work. Bonus: Stretching and a thorough warm up (should only take a few minutes - and it’s worth it!) can prevent possible injuries and even reduce soreness! Love your spokesmodel!
Thanks! Perfect timing for my needs! It was just brought to my awareness that I have some degeneration in my spine. I’m otherwise fit and healthy, but I’d like to give more attention to my abs to make sure they support my spine. Perfect workout for me! Much appreciated!
I love the content of all your videos, but I find the new style of video editing to be very disconcerting. Those quick flashes of in-and-out zooms are like a shock of strobe lighting every time, and are very jarring. Especially for older adults, that effect can actually make people dizzy. And it's totally unnecessary. Please, please dispense with the arthouse editing. Just plain old focus the camera on the activity. It's about the content, not the camera. We shouldn't even be aware of the camera. Please.
I’m the same age as Julie, but I don’t look as great as she does. I’m currently losing weight by doing low carb and intermittent fasting (I did this several years ago and was very successful). But I need to add exercise to my routine and need to strengthen my core. My lower back starts to hurt after I’ve been on my feet for a while because of excess abdominal weight and weak muscles. So I’m hoping these exercises help. Thanks so much for sharing this!
Fantastic that you didn’t mention the dead bug !! PTs do not seem to realize what leverage means and that body/leg weight is THE factor that determines the difficulty level. Kudos ! Will do your exercises instead of PT’s…
Love that you’re doing seated core! My problem with it is that the single leg lifts are fine, but the double lifts are impossible. I can’t manage even one! Seems so odd since the single lifts, including the more difficult version, aren’t a problem. What must I be doing wrong? Thanks for all your excellent advice!
I could only watch for two minutes before the camera action made me feel ill. Could you redo or make another video with the same information, but with a steady camera? Thank you.
Hi, I know this video is not about tkr but I need a little information. It's now seven weeks after my tkr can I now stop elevating my legs and do without the pillows and wedges. Also can I now sleep on my stomach. Thanks for your response
Will these get rid of rolls of fat or only make your muscles good underneath the fat? When i was in my sixties i had a flat stomach too but when i got to my seventies, my stomach got fat all of a sudden..i thought it was mostly hormones giving up.
Julie, you look great for 62! Brad is bragging on you! Incentive for me.....I am 68 and overweight about 30 to 35 pounds. Gained 15 the past 2 years. Shame on me.
I was surprised to find that I can't get both feet off the ground when I am seated. I can do one foot but two feet at a time is not possible for me, so I will work at that.
I've been told that women that have a POP should never do sit ups because it puts pressure in the pelvic area. Is it ok to do the floor exercises shown here?

More from Julie would be awesome. Her form is great, and the fact she is in her 60's gives us seniors hope!
Great to have a Brad and Julie video again. Love it!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love Julie!
I just watched the leg strengthening video first. Wow! Julie is your wife. She is amazing!
Never thought I could do an ab workout in the seated position! Thank you for these. You two are awesome! 💜🙏🏼💜
So wonderful that you two are working together for all of us! Thank you for this video! Enjoyed from Texas!
Thanks for the demo Julia. The standing version really helps improve balance as well as work those abs. So important in helping reduce falls!
Love Julie, more of that please!
Wow, Julie, you are in great shape. Thanks you two 💪

Oh wow Julie is great! Would love to see more with Julie too!
Good ab workout for returning exerciser, thank you
Brad & Julie are cute! Great demo, Julie! 💪🏼
I would recommend using some type of pad when you are doing the floor exercises. I have an old tailbone issue and matt or pad is a must.
That's great Julie, you keep your strenght and him on his side of the bed 🛌! You 2 are the same age, high school sweethearts, congrats!
Really helpful and definitely going to start this! Thanks a bunch.

Love your spokesmodel!
Thank you!
Great set of sensible/practical exercises.
Great exercises. Nice to have something simple that you can start with especially seated XX
Glad we could be of help!
Great video. Love this with your wife.
Thank you Julie!
Thanks, Julie!
These chair exercises are great for a lunch time work out while I'm working from home. It gives me a mental break!
Welcome back, Julie!
💕💗💕🙏🙏🙏Have a blessed week!!!
Wow. These are amazing. They really tighten the ab muscles.
Thank you. This is really helpful.
Love this. My belly is in the way but I can still feel it working!❤
Nice to meet you Mrs. Bob.❤
Mrs. Brad…😂

I thought it was just me experiencing this. I find myself not watching the screen very much and just listening.
It actually hurts✌🏾
You know , I had realized something about the newer filming was aggravating but had not really pinned it down. Thanks for putting it in words!
Agree!
Agree!
Agreed!

You're welcome
Amazing!! Thank you!! ;)
Great video!
Brad is this excercise suitable for osteoporosis?
Are these twisting movements safe for someone with osteoporosis?
I have the same question
Yay, Julie!
Do you have a playlist with Julie's videos?
I could only watch for two minutes before the camera action made me feel ill. Could you redo or make another video with the same information, but with a steady camera? Thank you.
Julia is great she neads to be on weekly ❤
Can I do the chair exercises if I’m having trouble with my S I joints? I’m 73. Bought a S I belt and will try walking with it in tomorrow.

Hello, I'm 64 and drive a school bus. Wonder if I could do at red lights! Just kidding!!lol 😊
😂

We miss the jingle😭😭❤️❤️
Brad U R a lucky man.
How is Bob doing?
I was surprised to find that I can't get both feet off the ground when I am seated. I can do one foot but two feet at a time is not possible for me, so I will work at that.
I like listening to her more than to him. She has a much more pleasant voice. I’d like to see more videos with her and demonstrating.
During COVID I babied myself too much.and my strength suffered
That happened to a lot of people, but it's good you realize it and are doing something about it now!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Those first few I don't feel any tension in the abdominals.
Your wife looks great for 62.
you guys are so cute together. Hot couple! Does Julie have a fitness background Brad, because you are asking her a lot of questions lol. :)
0:58 😂
Brad julie is in good shape doing excercise nice figure n very fit for her age
Wheres the jingle ? Just music kind of sucks and all those pictures flashing
Noted!!
👍🏻💖👍🏻💖
Probably she works out all the time. Many of us cannot.
Yes, however there are ways to work out like these to help those that have a little harder time
I've been told that women that have a POP should never do sit ups because it puts pressure in the pelvic area. Is it ok to do the floor exercises shown here?
Yes, please cut out the zoom flashes...no reason for them...hate them.
Yikes…I have motion sickness with all the zooming in and out 🤢
These chair exercises are great for a lunch time work out while I'm working from home. It gives me a mental break!
