Great job, Doc. I will see if you do teleconsulations. I think it might be too early for me to have a deep face lift but I am checking out your website.
Very nice results. After 3 facelifts I feel you should make the scar in front of the ear on every patient because there is a natural indentation in front of the ear that gets lost after a facelift because the skin is pulled straight over that middle piece of the ear.
Hi dr. Joe😊love your videos. I just had a facelift in May. My surgeon is in Newport Beach I wish I had gone with you but I live in Southern CA. Anyway, it looks like one of my neckbands has returned? Is there anything I can do about this. I’m thinking Botox? Another touch up surgery? Value your input
Hi Lisa, I'm also in Calif. & considering a neck/fl. Was the band on your neck resolved and if so, by what method? I follow a surgeon on YT based in Newport Beach, Dr. S****I, is this your surgeon and would you still recommend him? I just found Dr. Niamtu today. Thanks and I hope you are doing well and happy with your results now.
I am 8 weeks out from an upper and lower bleph, laser around the eyes and deep plane. While I look good, I am still a bit full in the eye/ upper cheek area and even a big red where I was lasered. My face in certain areas is still a bit numb and tight and has that rubber mask feel. That is one thing that is not addressed much...how your face feels. In my experience, your face feels like it's not your skin, mask like. Overall, I had a text book recovery and am verry pleased
I had a deep plane neck face and temple in May. Overall I’m thrilled however my entire left side is still numb; my neck is perfect on the right, snatched smooth no cords or bumps. The left side is numb slightly bumpy and, like you mentioned feels like a mask. Hopefully this will rectify itself for both of us 😊
Hi, I'm in the UK. I'm down for having a jowl lift, and the fat taken from under chin. So it's a mini face lift. I'm worried as I'm type 1 diabetic so very anxious about my insulin and food intake after op. I've been I'm going to be first down for op. Can you give me some reassurance as to what and what not to do? Sharon.
Dr. Niamtu, How common is it for the patient to experience hearing loss in one ear? I'm 5 days post-op. Their nurse told me that it is very common, and usually takes up to 4 weeks for hearing to recover. I'm a little concerned that there could be nerve damage.
Im 5 months into healing process (deep plane lower mini) and I dont see much of a differece at all. I still feel some numbness and swelling (esp onmy period). 3 month followup my Doctor said i look good and keep wearingnmy sling in the day as much as i can and will see me in 1 year. I dont see a difference. Is there any chance that i will see a result after a few more months?
I'm reading your comment now 7 months after you wrote it. I'm looking into getting a face-lift also and just curious if you finally saw the results you wanted after all this time? It's such a scary prospect to think of going through the surgery and not see a difference, especially the good difference that we all want when we're thinking of doing the procedures. Thank you and I do hope that it worked out for you!
@dr.joeniamtu can someone with immune diseases still have these procedures done?? As in Lupus, mixed connective tissue, disease, Fibromyalgia. Please let me know I’m so ready!!!TIA
That's a great video, but I'm a little disappointed as you said you were going to show the after pics 6 weeks later...what happened? Please make a video following patients at 2 wks, 2 months, 6 months & a year.
Now you are calling your facelifts “Deep PLANE” when you said you they are all marketing plays and a facelift is a facelift. You just wanr ri capitalize in the new buzz word.
I appreciate the fact that you have viewed my previous videos. You are correct that many doctors are doing their same technique and making minor changes or no changes in calling it deep plane. I have significantly changed my surgical technique and am performing a classic deep plane facelift and deep neck lift. My deep plane facelift includes subSMAS dissection to the nasolabial fold and my deep neck lift includes working in the deep cervical plain, including frequent reduction of submandibular glands. If you are truly interested, you can view my latest video which shows my exact technique and you will see that it truly is deep plain face and neck lift. You can view that video at the following address th-cam.com/video/CqmoT5KHplk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8En-Jck_kvZ2Y_ta If you watch this you will see that I am not using a "buzz word" I do think that the deep plane technique is superior, especially for lower face and neck. Having said that, I still feel that other techniques can provide very nice results. My personal results are even better with deep plane technique.
I'm 7 yrs out of my surgery with Dr Niamtu, and I still look great
Thank you so much for commenting we really appreciate that
You can tell your stitching is TOP NOTCH 👌
Thanks so much
25:03 love your videos- I am considering one. I am in New Zealand and really love seeing and hearing your patients stories and how they feel!
Thanks for watching
Great video, really enjoyed seeing and hearing from your patients.
Thanks so much

I think an incision in front of the tragus looks more natural
12 million not bad on just facelifts. great work.
:)
Amazing work Doctor
Many thanks!
Thank you for all this helpful information!
You are so welcome!

Talk to your surgeon he or she should have some solutions. sometimes they are temporary and improve with healing. Sometimes Botox can help.

A gifted man
Ah, thanks
I wish I would have found your video before my surgery. I’m a month today. Still so swollen
I hope you do well
I am 14 days post op, dont worry, it is normal to be swollen after 4 weeks! It will settle down and you will look great
Been glad wearing face masks is still ok. 12 days post op it is handy. Got bruising.

To be specific, deep plane face lift ( no neck) and fat pad repositioning with the lower bleph.

It can take along time for everything to settle out.
I’m telling you.He’s great!
Thanks so much.
Excellent, Doc. Does Facelift deep plan has to take buccal fat or not, Doc? Thank you so much
Frequently it does, but only if the patient need reduction in that area.
@@jniamtuiii Thank you so much, Master
I like the lifts look natural.
Thanks so much

I treat many diabetics and we (and they) manage their insulin and glucose fine. It is the uncontrolled diabetic that is a problem.
Hi doctor , I would like to know how much do you charge for facelift and neck left ?
Fees are on www.lovethatface.com/patient-information/general-information-patient-info/fee-estimates/
come see us :)
Love your slogans Doctor 😃 1) “You don’t look good, I don’t look good 2) I don’t do boobs or butts, I do … “
Love that face :)
Good luck😊
Thank you 😁
That’s where the sutures go around the ear!

Sometimes I see it from blood in the ear or from swelling but in my experience has been very temporary.
Love Love love❤
Thanks so much
How much is a "COMPLETE" FACELIFT- EYE LID LIFT?
Thanks, fees are available www.lovethatface.com/patient-information/general-information-patient-info/fee-estimates/

Could because I had cheek filler in the past affect my result?
Every case is different, if you are worried, ask for your before pics and compare.

The short answer is yes. You would need medical clearance from from the doc that manages your lupus and connective disease.

Sorry, I guess I was baiting you :) I do have a lot of other videos out there showing various stages of laser and facelift.
@@jniamtuiii HA! I love your forthright honesty!! That makes up for it.
I just don’t want to be asleep, that’s the only thing in my way
Anesthesia is much safer than driving :)
full recovery would take 1 months the least ..to do away with the stitches and scars specially its the full face surgery ...
Most people are out of the house in half of that time but I tell people if they have a big event to give it 6-8 weeks

Very informative! Your patients look absolutely beautiful! You are a true Artist Dr. Niamtu….Many thanks, Susan from Canada.
