    Some of them are still trading. Music Box is still open, Dig Vinyl is still open and Good Time Collectables still trading. A few missing as well i.e Ali Baba records in Walton Vale, Tudor records also in Walton Vale. There was also one in Bootle Strand shopping centre and numerous record shops in London Rd/ Kensington are in 1970's-1980's

    There's a few you missed like Sountrek in Bootle Strand, one on South Road in Crosby, I think it was Downings and Northern Radio on Stanley Road Kirkdale.

      The one in South road Waterloo is still there,it's inside a book shop . It's in-between the ghurka restaurant and the liver pub

    There was a great second hand record place on st John's rd. On a corner with metal covers on all the windows. The one on South rd was near Waterloo station and down some steps. I remember they had table top space invaders. Is Backtrax on button St the one at the side of Quiggins? That Scene of the crime bag took me back.

      Yes, "Dead Or Alive" frontman, Pete Burns. I remember someone asking him if they had "Bat Out Of Hell" and he replied..."No we fuckin' don't."
