This song has already been on HEAVY rotation since the album came out, and now I'm glad I can finally know the words that I've unknowingly been singing along to
Tom collabing with anyone is always a treat, but this feels like a 3 course dessert
That is the funkiest lion I have ever seen
This is genuinely my favorite TWRP collab of all time, and that's sayin something cuz Starlight Brigade and Polygon are absolute fuckin bangers! Everything from Tom n Montaigne's smooth vocals, to the catchy beats and dancey bops, to the sheer nerdiness sprinkled throughout the lyrics... Pure bliss. Y'all needa collab again, this was truly divine!
Twrp gotta be so damn sweaty at all times bruh
This is my favourite song from the album. Tom and Montaigne work so well with TWRP!
Also, the TWRP members are looking slick!
First Brian, then NSP and now TWRP. This is everything I've always wanted!
I was guided here and I must say not only was this song amazing but it sent me on a wonderful journey through TWRP’s music and damn do I love their music so I must thank you as well. And hey the content on this channel has been enjoyable to go through so Ws all around.
seeing your pfp I see you had a real good time going through their discography lol
@@maligulant4396 oh yeah I had a blast
God nothing on this album misses. Its just hit after hit after hit. I've been listening to it constantly. Montaigne's voice is just so transcendent on this. The range is incredible
Definitely. Digital Nightmare is going in the top 3 albums for me for sure
jus watchin this while while high
honestly idk its amazing. ah her voice. th chorus and how it brings evrrything. at 2.20 its jus yes
i love this
il c youu onlinndd. so so good. they both so pretty. or good loloking
im so so blazedd
mazing
0:38 this moment with the caption "you can catch me in cyberspace" looks like tom cardy is a retro futuristic dystopian cop which is being told by a rebellious teenager a very specific expresion unique to this timeline.
That’s the bass player for twrp not Tom
I was suggested here while listening to the song “Dupe - Don Dada” 😮😮
Just these 3 (6) forever please. Would love an entire album with TWRP and Montaigne!
Is it just me or this this song giving off STRONG earth wind and fire-vibes?
I mean that is a good thing.
Just didn’t expect something so fire!
Tom Cardy meeting NSP was the best god damned thing that ever happened
Actually, Tom Cardy opening for Game Grumps Tournament of Gamers was the best thing that ever happened
"Tom Cardy ft. TWRP & Montaigne"
-vibrates out of my chair-
Also this song is very me. As much as seeing someone I care about in person is nice, an online connection can sustain me for a long time.
Ive always thought that TWRP and Tom Cardy have similar music styles when it comes to 80s techno funk and now they've collabed, its awesome
Man this guy is versatile, seriously, I thought "TWRP and TOM, no way, they're too different" then I listened to this masterpiece. God Damn, Montaigne, talented as ever.
I was waiting for my favourite Starlight Brigadiers to show up with Tom as soon as I saw him in that new NSP joint
ONE new banger? TWO sets?? THREE performers???
Tom, you've gone _WILD_
And I'm *here for it*
6 performers*
@@nopesodope8060 oh shoot, my bad, I just assumed all the costumed figures in the trailer were the same person in different outfits, but I guess that's a band and not just one dude. Apologies, trailer people!
Meouch definitely one of the most talented bassplayers I have ever witnessed. Phobos is really fucking good too
Thank you Tom ! This B A N G E R make me discover TWRP !! And i don't understand why i dont know this band until now !
The bright side is you have SO MANY new bangers to discover. Have fun. :D
@@celebrenithil they are incredible... and the bass is 🥵🥵
@@fabienfremont8485 Yeah, Meouch is not the president of slap bass for nothing! If you want more once you've been through the TWRP repertoire, try giving a listen to Jogurt's "Model Human" song from Job Simulator & also Trey Magifique's entire smooth jazz album. They both had the good sense to get Meouch lay down the funk on their tracks.
I cannot explain the nice warm feeling that i get from tom and montaigne singing. I love them both so much
I love that my favorite musical artists from different circles end up meeting and ultimately collabing together. Makes my heart full
Started watching for Tom's signature silliness, stayed for a legit great song.
Anyone know the name of the move Sung is busting out from 0:56-1:01? That is smooth as hell.
I'm LIVING for all those little dances Tom and Montaigne do ❤️😆
I’m torn between thinking that those star jorts are rad as fuck and thinking that I’d look like I pissed myself if I ever wore them out.
I have had this on repeat for about two days! Such a good working song!
I'm also convinced the guy playing the keyboard is Tom's twin as they have the same energy and same mustache!
Watched the hour this was posted, just now clawing my way out of a five-day TWRP bender. Thanks for the introduction!
I'm just putting it out there that I've never personally seen Tom and Doctor Sung in the room at the same time.
I just realised that this song is basically part of the story of that boy and girl dating each other, each song being prequel after prequel and having more featured artists. This is it in chronological order:
1. Online
2. Red flags
3. Mixed messages
This also means that it’s gonna be animated-
it is a TWRP song. So it is non-canon
Montaigne's shorts are absolutely amazing. They (Montaigne) look so fucking cool.
I legitimately never knew TWRP had getups. This pleases me immensely.
A Starbomb x Tom Cardy cross would be dangerous ❤
Montaigne looking good as hell and hitting jojo poses is exactly what this video needed. Thank god, and thank you too, Tom.
First BDG, then NSP, now TWRP! All the letters!!! Next we need all of the above.
What a collaboration! I love TWRP already, and I can never get enough of Montaigne's awesome voice
I gasped when I saw both Montaigne and TWRP on this one. What an absolute banger!
The costumes in this are outrageous, i love it.
TWRP
Lyrics
Baby, I try to meet your eye
But those eyes weren't made for me
I ask around 'cause the night has just begun
You're such a mystery (such a mystery, such a mystery)
Cool glasses, I like 'em a lot
And your binary earrings are getting me hot
There's a certain time and place for love
And I'm starting to think that I know what you want
I think I know what you like
So farewell and goodbye
You can catch me later, baby
You can catch me online
I'll see you online
(You can catch me in cyberspace)
(I'll be the one with the broadband embrace)
I'll see you online
It's more than fantasy
When it's you and me online
Online, online (spend your life with me, yes, please)
Online, online, online
The information superhighway (modern aphrodisiac)
Let's cruise with the top down (in my desktop Cadillac)
We can spend all night in my private chatroom
Here's the password
You better write this down
(Babe, I think I love you)
I can't believe I feel this way
Did not know I could afford
A love electric past the point routed to my motherboard
I think I know what you like
So farewell and goodbye
You can catch me later, baby
(I gotta catch ya online)
I'll see you online
(You can catch me in cyberspace)
(Meet me at my virtual place)
I'll see you online
It's more than ecstasy
When it's you and me online
Baby, drive me crazy
Chat with you daily
Could you blame me?
Baby, drive me crazy
Loving you all day
On my display
Oh, baby, when I pass you by I'm just another guy
Asking myself "why do I try?"
Boy, why are we so coy out here in reality?
When we both know virtually
I start feeling myself
You make me feel twenty feet tall
Here in our world
Never knew that I could feel this way
Never knew that you would feel the same
And the feeling's here to stay
From now until y2k
And even then you know ill wait
You know ill wait
I'll see you online
(You can catch me in cyberspace)
Girl, I miss your interface
I'll see you online
It's like there's nobody but you and me online
I'll see you online
(You can catch me in cyberspace)
Netscape living showcase
I'll see you online
We're young and we're free
Just you and me online, online, online
Just you and me, just you and me
Online
Montaigne's swagged out tour bus is the envy of aspiring australians everywhere... Montaigne brings a nonbinary swag to the tom cardy video that is otherwise deeply missed
Nonbinary and swag seem mutually exclusive. Why are we mainstreaming delusion, again?
Hell yeah sibling!
3:18, The contrast with this catchy and damn near epic track and, 3:20, Montaigne just being on the phone barely showing emotion to show the boring reality of trying to have relationship online is a very funny yet smart detail.
The collab I didn't know I needed. Of course they all go so well together. Perfect. Please do more.
