  • NCIS Special Agent Ed Gardner brings the dead back to life. He did it for a man whose body washed up in the Elizabeth River six years ago, partially decomposed. For years, Chesapeake police struggled to identify the man, who carried no ID -- only a Ferrari watch.

I would like to know if you had a chance to work on a skull of the "red haired giants" or Nephilim yet. Think this would REALLY be a breakthrough

Did anyone come forward to identify this man?

Yes, he was identified shortly after this reconstruction was made; his name was William Valencia-Trujillo, and he was from Columbia.

Thank you for the information. I trust he was not related to you. If he was, please accept my condolences.

They apply that dough to a copy of the skull not the real one, right?

Deniz Metinoğlu T. Generally a 3-D reproduction of the original skull is used.

Is this a real skull you work with?
Whats going to happen to the bodies after the science is done?
Very cool work. I have family there.
    William bybee (Bibbee) died 1636
2 months before his wife Ann
Leaving 2 orphaned children to survive. What a tough time these people had.

The remains will usually go back to the family who will decide what to do with the body like burial or cremation or something.

I hope I don't sound extremely stupid buy how to the tissue markers work? how can they determine the exact depth of the muscle tissue?

      He explains it starting 1:40
Basically, they get the depth by averaging what they have found from cadavers of various races. They say it produces an identification about 60% of the time.
I would like to see them use the cadaver of a person that donated their body to science, so they know what the person looks like, you know, where they would have pictures of the person when alive. Then give the cadavers cleaned skull to one of these forensic artist, without letting them see any pictures, of coarse. It would be interesting to see how close the reconstruction looks compared to the actual person.

That's a great idea! It would be a very informative and interesting experiment.

Why, on that skull in the video, did you decide it needed big, African lips? I really do want to know. I am not trying to be unkind or racial. Please help.

I belived people who knows about skulls and bones, find easy to know what ethnic it came from and some details too. It's just my guess

    • @mmnde12
      @mmnde12 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

They can see ethnicity from the skull.. Obviously people of african descent generally have fuller lips.
