But there is only so much land and not a lot for agriculture. Some islands are just atolls or super small. Spam became popular because Americans going from island to island during WWII brought the canned goods with them. For populations that were starving because of the war, some American planes would drop cargo onto islands (I believe even as far west as Papua New Guinea) with canned goods to eat.

Try it with gross ass Vienna sausages (of which has a fraction of the flavors spam does) and people wouldn't be such a fan of spam, Let alone Michelin star chefs like Gordon Ramsay. Try doing something like this with Wagyu A5. It would definitely be fun and taste good too! I really like your videos, keep it up! You can just tell how much love and energy is in it. Prosciutto is very similar to spanish iberico ham, we use the leg of the pork, depending of what the animal has eaten it will have a different taste, here in Spain we usually feed them acorn that's why it's called jamón de bellota.

I was smoking Spam weekly for about a year and slicing/frying in and putting it on an egg, spam and cheese sandwich for breakfast. I usually soak the spam in water for about 4 hours first to pull out some salt and they smoke it for 20 to 30 minutes on low heat. It is actually pretty tasty.
As a Hawaiian. Living in Hawaii all my life born and raised. Spam is essential over here. Even at our McDonald’s they sell a Spam,eggs, and rice platter. Instead of biscuits and gravy and eggs like the mainland.
Would be interested to know what made the official spam taste so distinguishable from the homemade spam. Makes me wonder if there were some missing ingredients, or if it was purely the cuts of meat included.
I love spam. I just sprinkle sugar to both sides before frying it and it goes really well with plain rice. Just a note, don't fry it for too long or the sugar will burn and harden onto the spam so the taste will be like you're eating a fossil.

Didn’t see real Wagyu a5 here….just some replica….stop clickbaiting. There are only 9 certified vendors that are allowed to sell „wagyu“ everything not bought from them is not real wagyu. The packaging gave it away it’s not from them since the packaging is always the same and comes with a real certificate. It’s also soooo hard to get since it’s not a massproduction that you won’t even get your hands on it.
