  • HELLO !!!
    Now you can assemble the Spider-Man mask from the PlayStation 4 game using a 3D printer and my files
    here you can buy my files www.etsy.com/l...
    you need to assemble the mask
    1) files for 3d printing
    /The front shell is one piece, the front shell is divided into two parts for printers with a printing area of 220x220x250
    /Lens, right and left
    / lenses are movable
    /driver mechanism mg 90s and sg90
    /bar
    / housing for infrared sensor, cover for tumbler, cover for infrared sensor board
    2) templates for lens and chin
    3) arduino sketch, detailed circuitry for the spider man mask electronics
    !!!!!!! all files are zipped, use winrar archiver to unzip !!!!!!
    //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    3d printing tips !!!
    1) I print the face shell with a nozzle 0.6 / layer height 0.3 / speed 60 / support / plastic Petg
    At these printing parameters the mask will print for about 17 hours
    2) Lens / nozzle 0.4 / layer height 0.2 / speed 60 / backing / plastic Petg
    3) printing of mechanism and other parts / nozzle 0.4 / layer height 0.2 / speed 60 / plastic Petg
    //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    ARDUINO
    the sketch shows a 94 degree servo angle, this is the correct angle for my servos,
    .
    If you don't like the angle, you can change it.
    If the sketch does not work on your board you can try
    download arduino version 1.0 or 1.0.6
    //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    the tools and materials you will need to assemble the playstation 4 spider-man
    1) 3D printer
    2) computer
    3) pliers
    4) insulation cleaner
    5) file
    6) utility knife or scalpel
    7) screwdrivers
    8) scissors
    9) screwdriver
    10 hair dryer
    11) soldering iron with a fine needle
    12) tin with solder
    glue
    1) hot glue gun
    2) rubber based glue
    3) cyanoacrylate glue
    other
    1) 1 mm thick transparent plastic / size 15x40 cm
    2) perforated film / 15x40 cm
    3) eva foam with thickness of 1-3 mm / size 10x15 centimeters
    4) !!!!!!22 screws m3 length 10 mm and 3 screws m3 length 25 mm !!!!!
    ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    THE ELECTRONICS NEEDED FOR THE ASSEMBLY
    1) arduino nano or pro mini
    2) IR sensor HW-201 2 pcs.
    3) infrared diodes Tcrt5000L 2 pcs.
    4) 10 K resistor
    5) SS12D00G3 toggle switches 2 pcs.
    6) Servo drives MG 90s 2 pcs. or SG90
    7) Battery compartment for 2 AAA batteries 2 pcs.
    8) 4 AA 1.5 volt batteries (I recommend to buy 4 pcs / AAA 1.2 size 1100 milliampere batteries and a charger)
    9) wires (the wires can be disconnected from the umbilical charger)
    ///////////////////////////////////////////////////
    links to accessories (all electronics I bought on aliexpress)
    1) arduino nano
    aliexpress.ru/...
    2) IR sensor HW-201 2 pcs.
    aliexpress.ru/...
    3) Tcrt5000L IR diodes 2 pcs.
    aliexpress.ru/...
    4)resistor 10K
    aliexpress.ru/...
    5) SS12D00G3 toggle switches 2 pcs.
    aliexpress.ru/...
    6) servos MG 90s 2 pieces or SG90 (on aliexpress very often send fakes, so it is better to look for servos in your city or in internet stores in your country)
    7) perforated film (you can buy it in an advertising agency)
    aliexpress.ru/...
    I didn't buy the perforated film from this link, so read the reviews carefully.

    I think it's cool that we've gotten to the point where we are so close to just having a spiderman mask that is just about there in terms of hownthe tech likely function. Small eye sensors controlling gear functions. But also, spidermans mask i believe has some form of screen or HUD in-game.
    Either way, i wonder if there is a way to make the eye movement system even smaller?

    • @alexstark9471
      @alexstark9471  2 ปีที่แล้ว +74

      the lens movement mechanism can be reduced. you can take a micro servo or fundamentally redesign the mechanism. the display is more complicated, it all requires power, and it is better to use lithium polymer batteries, but they can be dangerous, as if short-circuited can explode, so I use regular batteries

      When I see comments like yours, I only think about how simple it would be for a technology company to get to work on that using its best engineers and scientists with a big budget, without a doubt we can create a Spider-man mask as simple but technological like fiction

      Now we are just waiting for someone to develop a set of ICs especially made for this one, so instead of discrete parts, we well have one PCB integrated in the mask.

  • @ZainIsInPain
    @ZainIsInPain 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Here's a sort of price guide (without taxes),
    Everything without the 3D Printer or filament will run you about 225 USD, including the template.
    On amazon I couldn't find the Sidewinder X1, but they did have the X2. That along with the filament will give you a cost of about 640 USD in total.
    The Artillery Hornet w/ the filament will give you about 470 USD in total.
    In conclusion, if you have a way of getting a 3D printer for free, like through a friend, then at the very least this will cost you 220 - 230 USD. The second cheapest option is getting it done at a 3D printing service, I don't know how much they usually cost though. If you don't have both of those then your best bet is just getting the Artillery Hornet. I don't see what the difference is between the Hornet and the X2, and for an almost 200 dollar difference I'd say it's a good deal.

    I love the mask~ tho one note... Your support's Z distance is too close which is why you had to manually remove all the supports so roughly... have you tried setting it farther? Im using a .4 nozzle in mine and i have set my supports to .15 so that its still close but not too close that it get stuck with the main print. Not sure how far a .6 nozzle tolerance tho

    • @alexstark9471
      @alexstark9471  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If I increase the gap between the model and the supports, the model begins to pull away from the supports at the edges, and then the model comes out the wrong shape and there is more vibration on the last layers of the model on the axis z. Perhaps it depends on the plastic.

    Would this work without a faceshell? Like of course using a thick fabric and thinner batteries and such

    So i have been seeing the shop and i have a question, are all the products the files for the 3D printer and arduino? Like, are they all just files, or you sell the assembled mask? I'm asking this because unfortunately i don't have a 3D printer

    So probably a stupid question but when you pull out the pink and blue red and yellow wires where did those come from you said from an umbilical charger in the description but I can’t find what that is.
