People trashing this man need to understand he's a genius! Built a glass Playstation 4 without the use of a single piece of glass. Now that's craftmanship at it's finest.
No, he used glass, it was just really frosted, he had to take off the frost.

how is it Genius when within 6 months of Normal to High use since no heat dispersion may cause teh system to fry out. its one thing to create something for looks . but a whole nother thing when it comes to building a functional system that will stand the test of time. while yes all electronics have a shelf life. if this guys does these builds with teh idea of maybe selling these sorts of builds for customers . Ya sort of wish he insures ya system custom build will last longer than 6 months of normal wear and tear and hard core gamer use. Might i ask if ya bought one and it died within a few months of use would ya demand ya money back or be oh well was fun while it lasted.

three things; 1) no thermal paste and pads? ; 2) no air intake vents? ; 3) how will you clean this? i clean my ps4 every 3 to 6 months as dust builds up.

It’s acrylic not glass, but that doesn’t make it any less impressive. It’s absolutely beautiful, imagine having a whole set of consoles in this style.
@Ramell Dion most of us would. This kind of projects aren’t for amateur DIYers or even those with moderate to adept knowledge in this field. This kind of craftsmanship at that level of precision and attention to detail to the point where they function perfectly would take years, decades of experience in working with electronics and dismantling/reassembling all sorts of electronic devices to be able build a fully functional gaming console that works as well as the factory built ones. Shit, if I could build this kind of shit I’d have started my own gaming console company. Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo wouldn’t know what hit them.

Very cool. I watched so that I could gain some confidence in what I'd like to do, and this vid helped me see just what I had to keep and toss. Good stuff. Personally, I'm going to do a different build, with less adhesive-permanence, extending the pieces away from one another and adding lots of fun cooling! It will hopefully share a mid-size server case + PC with a simple hdmi switch. This one is way more delightful on the eyes for sure!!

The metal plates all over are there for a reason, they're called faraday cages and are meant to avoid shorts and interferences such as static. There's also a reason why the PSU is seperate from the motherboard. The HDD is also meant to be removable, not glued to the motherboard.

looks cool, but you forgot one major thing, vent holes. The only place for miniscule air now are at back and maybe through blueray drive. Normaly theres vent holes at sides for intake and also at the back for exaust. As it is right now this thing will cook itself to death.

if you got a air compressor to fill up tires, you can take just the top off the case of the ps4, and blow into the fan with it, it doesn't matter which direction, I've done it and it works fine, I have the slim and the top of the case snaps off front to back, becareful when opening it

I live in North West Victoria Australia where during summer we casually get 45+ degree days and I don't use an aircon, and I've never had this problem meanwhile my cousin in an air-conditioned room proceeds to have this problem.

In terms of looks and creativity ..100% 10 out of 10 …but that thing is definitely gonna over heat…no ventilation holes and before the heat sink was glued down, thermal paste wasn’t applied…also all d aluminum within the case was to help spread the heat

@@AdversaryOne He's done that and I can see your point. But the electronics are harder to deal with with the newer gen consoles and the angles on the ps4 to get correct makes it more complex to pull off, in my opinion.
