@@blockethoutdoors hey just found out they make an even better air shotgun I thought you might want to check out. It’s made by seneca called the wing shot. It shoots #6 or #8 shot and has the capability of shooting a .50 cal slug. And they also make a double barreled version called the double shot which is just sick. Anyway just thought I’d let you know and keep up the good work 👍

Why on earth did they make it so weak? They could’ve easily made it shoot those shells at 800ish fps
You might check out the Air Force company. They make rifles capable of killing a deer at moderate range. (PCPs, pre-charged pneumatics) I have no idea if they make shotguns. The only problem is, they're around $1000.00.
@@robertsansone1680 i currently own a 357 and 50 cal pcp but I do appreciate the helpful feedback. That’s kinda the premise of my initial comment, with the amount of power air rifles can produce nowadays it’s no reason we can’t have air shotguns that can do everything a powder burning single barrel could do. I would love to see a true muzzle loader style 20 gauge air shotgun that you could dump and patch just because I think it’d be neat. But maybe the market wouldn’t gravitate due to added process. I just think it’d be neat

@@devincarter6005 Another thing, the Austrians had military air rifles back in the Napoleonic Wars over 200 years ago. (You might look them up. To me they are fascinating) I used to wonder why modern day manufacturers didn't come out a powerful air rifle. They obviously have now, but for years, all you had was a Crossman 760. Maybe they were afraid that they'd be regulated like firearms?
Be considerate to your hunting partners, wear some hunter's orange. Wearing camo is making their hunt harder by having to spend extra effort to keep track of where you are. Small game hunting is about looking for game, not struggling to keep track of people in camo.
Then again.....they could take em off....
In Kenada you don't really have this problem you need orange even on private land if you are hunting

Soak it in salt water for about a day or so then presher cook it it is sooooo tender or you can grill it and use BBQ sauce
I picked up a Gamo Shadow Expres (it's a more plain looking version of the Viper Express) a long time ago. Got a great deal on it. Walmart corporate had a miscommunication... they were dropping FFL's at most stores, but they told the stores to liquidate all guns, including air guns. They had everything at like 80% off. I grabbed the Shadow Express really cheap, and bought out all their shells for $2 per box. I then went Walmart hopping and bought the shells out at 4 other stores.
I use the thing mostly for mice and carpenter bees. It's great for shooting carpenter bees out of the air. Get a lot of complaints from people who can't seem to understand that carpenter bees and bumblebees aren't the same thing.

I love your videos. It takes a lot of courage to post videos and forget about everyone that says hunting is bad. Or say your videos are bad you know what it doesn’t matter more than 40,000 people love your videos I’m 12 years old and I got my first buck a couple days ago. It was a 16 pointer in Wisconsin.

Your next video buy Seneca double barrel air shotgun like Fowler's makery and mischief
09:21 , just remove the spring based power system, and instead fit a gas-ram (nitropiston) kit, something like 35 or 40 kilos on the gas-ram will give you magnum airgun performance, you could even try 45 or up to 50 kilos, everything will depend on how thick the barrel is and how resistant the pivot point is when breaking the barrel. If that rifle is like most of the gamo that use a piston without a stem, you can adapt a gas-ram without problems

Slam fire when you slam it shut
You can load by breaking the barrel. You can then cock and close in a safe direction
Dont let go of the barrel if you cock it first..... its plain dangerous and looks amatuer
You could probably reload those shells. I'm guess it's just using a sabot cup to contain the shot.
I make my own & use the brass pellet insert. Much cheaper & not that hard to make once the process is figured out.

15 grains total weight of 20 pellets at 725 fps is under 18 ft lbs of energy.
The old Yewha or better yet Farco CO2 shotgun was borderline.
This is a joke... even .22 LR rimfire shot shells are a joke. 32 grains at 1000 fps or 70 ft lbs of energy.
.45 ACP or .44 magnum snake charmer shotshell loads minimum.
The wimpiest .410 shotshell is the shorter 2.5" length half ounce 220 grain load at 1200 fps is 700 ft lbs muzzle energy.

You should do a video of finding mods for bigger powerplant like 1300 fps or higher ive hear of people swapping the barrel out and putting in another gamo powerplant ... Take it to gunsmith.. would be cool to c this thing modified by a real gunsmith shout out from New Zealand
Rabbits will be tough on the grill . Try it on cast iron pan . Add some lard to the pan and brown the cut up rabbit and then add spices cumming salt pepper garlick and water simmer for about a hour add water as needed add cut up onion and tomatoes simmer till vegtables are soft . Mix some flower with water and make a whitwash . Add slowly to pan and use spoon to ster to avoid clumps . Simmer till you have a gravy and sprinkle with pepper . You will love it and it will be tender . Rabbit meat has no fat so lard or shortning is important about a large spoonful is,about right .
