Good question. Right now Plasma 6 isn't much different in functionality from Plasma 5 (th-cam.com/video/b2w9g_Kawg0/w-d-xo.html). I forgot to mention that in the video, but was focusing on interface changes only.
It is really smooth. I may post another video soon. You can install firefox from terminal, or Floorp, which is based on firefox. Both have scaling issues at the moment though.
I had that issue too at first :( try reinstalling the latest edge channel version from the postmartketOS website, and see if recent updates fixed it for you.
Unfortunately only a few devices are supported. You mentioned that custom roms are bloated. I find lineageos (without gapps) can be pretty slim: download.lineageos.org/devices/alioth/builds
This future excites me. I can't wait for linux mobile phones to go mainstream. Android is too locked down now.
Yes, I, too, wish for freedom in devices. Hopefully linux mobile will gain more support and attention so it can go mainstream.
XD
The blur is cool I hope Gnome Mobile does this too

@@CyberPunkEduyou're welcome ❤
What would you say is the best mobile desktop environment currently that you've tried? :)
For postmarketOS, I found Gnome Mobile to be currently the most functional.
What's not working on smartphone having posmarketos with kde plasma 6 is a good question?

does docking work?
Unfortunately I don't have the hardware to test it out right now, but I have read that others have used docking. I'll keep looking into it!
@@CyberPunkEdu thanks bro
Wish they ported to Xiaomi Poco F3, would definitely install it since custom roms are really bloated.
