When I worked afternoons at KLAX, I’d watch an Emirates A380 depart on 24L from the Singapore ramp. Amazing something that large could get airborne.
Simply an amazing sight and womderfly filmed..but honestly a pretty nerve racking sight from the community perspective..being in Lennox (the community) right under the flight path adjacent to the airport..

Looks like the controller offered them runway 6R or wait for runway 7R. I wonder why they decided to delay their departure and wait for runway 7R? Both runways are almost the same length (6R is only 200 ft shorter).
