this is a super late reply but still, its recomended to size down by 2 because they run big. Im a women's 8 wide or a regular 9 but sized down to a seven. the skates are in men sizing to, so for example If your a women's 7 size down to a mens 5.
Radical! Looking forward to seeing how those boots hold up. I think they will be my next boot. I currently have a candigirl Carlin. Love them and had them for over a year. Left boot has the plate on slightly crooked though.
I just got mines today and I'm so excited! I put them on right out of the box but felt like I was skating on a slippery/wet surface on the sidewalk. Did you have this problem as well? Love the video by the way!

I’m a newer skater and I tried on several brands and sure grip fames are so comfortable and gives me ankle support w padding !!! If it helps anyone I’m A 6.5 sneaker n ladies and a 6 mens in fames. The 5 fit but my toe was too compressed so sized up
21 hyper my original size is an 8 in length but my feet are so wide I almost always wear a size 8.5/9. I got a size 8 because I was scared the skates would be too narrow but they weren’t and I definitely could have sized down to a 7 for a more snug fit. Sorry if that’s a lil confusing I have weird proportions 😂 basically if I followed the suregrip size recommendations I would have had a perfect snug fit!

No! For a proper fit, your toes should JUST touch the inside of the toe box (true in skates AND shoes)...there may be a couple millimeters of space, but much more than that and the skate is too big. Especially when it comes to leather. As these are vinyl, it's not bad if there is a LITTLE excess wiggle room, but with a suede or leather boot, they'll soon stretch and be TOO big and your feet will start sliding around in them.
@@pamelagilmore7222 Correct...to a degree. I've got THREE Sure-Grip's. The GT-50, the Rebel, and a Prism. Size 6 Women's tennis shoe - usually. My Sure-Grips - in no particular order - are a size 5, a size 6, and one is a 7....and all fit me perfectly.
lamegirlclub yeah even though I’m normally an 8.5 I think I still could have gotten a size 7 in these skates (I got size 8) even tho I have a real wide foot. I was just being cautious since I saw so many other skates that were way narrower and wasn’t sure how the suregrip ones would fit but I deff could have got a size 7!! (Which is what their size chart suggested) but I just wear two pairs of socks when I skate now and lace it real tight and I’m fine :)

The crab tool or the Y3 tool will be great for your skates. Check out amazon or maybe planet roller skate.shop for one. I have both and I use both depending on where I am.
With everyone staying home...there's really not as much to do - for fun and/or for exercise. Roller skating has caught on globally. Even skate shops overseas are selling out of "outdoor" skates as well as outdoor wheels. :)

There is also the vise versa skate tool and also crab tools for the wheels but i would recommend a Y3 tool

Usually with SureGrips, ladies have to go down 2 sizes since they all come in men’s size.
