5:30 - my wife and I are both from Reno and went to Washoe public schools. I went to Reed and she went to Reno high. I completed a Masters in Economics and she went on to get her PhD in Chemistry. Don't pay attention to the rankings. You get out of the school system what you put into it.
Your honest insights about living in Reno are so helpful and refreshing! Thanks for sharing your 30 years of experience and providing such a clear picture of life in this unique city. Great video! -Macy (Team Evan)

@@LivingInRenoTahoe I've been a professional musician for 50 years. When I got off the plane 3 years ago here I felt this dark aura here and I lived in Vegas for 3 years too but it's day and night between them. Everyone here seems like they are in their own private world. My buddy told me that's the Cali attitude. I've worked with the biggest names in the business no shit. In Florida and GA it's really easy to hook up with other players. I haven't even heard a great player in Reno except myself.
@@LivingInRenoTahoe I don’t have any. I’ve never been looking at new places to live. Watched your video thinking I was going to get the good and the bad.
@@tarpontail2750 to be honest there really is not much bad here. Yes we have more traffic but compared to most major cities it’s not bad. We of course have a few rough areas and some people feel our medical and finding doctors is not great but it really is a great place to live.
I don’t care about the schools cause my kids are grown one of my biggest issues is health care, it’s not great.

Thank you very much. We keep trying to spread the good word about Reno.
I just came here from Georgia for work? Is there anything I need to watch out for or understand?
@@jonathandempsey9228 not in my opinion but email me a number and we can talk and I can answer any questions you have.

Me as a bay area ca resident looking to move to the Reno area: 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@marivega3294 happy to help you get here and yes we have issues like every city but it’s not like CA
@LivingInRenoTahoe I never said that. I just said that what ever is in reno is doubled, maybe tripled in the bay area. More people.
