At the end of the video i give a quick overview of my initial impressions of the shock. keep in mind this is meant for entertainment purposes only and is based completely on my opinion. If you have any questions please leave a comment below and I will do my best to answer them. Thank you for watching and please consider liking this video and subscribing to my channel!
    Below is a link to website I purchased the shock(select your model of crf250l and look for the yss rear shock)
    PLEASE NOTE: The rally and normal L model do not have the same shock so be sure you choose the correct one.

    Finally my YSS Dämpfer Einstellbar MZ456-395TR-10-X Honda Crf 250 L 2013-2014 arrives today and will install it tomorrow. Order from Ebay on 27 April and arrives 9 May 2023. It is very costly EUR 362.54 Shipping EUR 55.8 as it comes from UK. I find it cheaper to import from Thailand as Brunei is only 2 hrs away. Where else UK to Brunei is 14hrs 30min.
    Your vidoe is very helpful, thanks for the nice content.

    I own a CRF300L Rally and I weigh 150 lb and you are correct it still bottoms out. Thanks for the review of the shock. I have heard that YSS shock works well. So I am going to do the same as you as soon as I can.

    Great vid. That YSS shock looks sweet!
    When greasing the lower linkages it's best to put the grease actually into the linkage needle bearings. If you put it on the bolt the linkage oil seal will stop it passing into the bearing area.
    Keep up the good work 😁

    Thanks for this video, it helped me on getting the top bolt loosened. For me it was a little disappointment that this only has rebound adjustment and no compression adjustment, but I am installing is currently and might still be enough for me. I have the same YSS part number as you and as information to those are interested in weight saving, stock one is 3700g and YSS is 2800g, so this is helping 900g (~2 pounds) in weight loss.

    Hi, useful and informative thanks. Was trying to get the shock of my 250L and had the issues with access from the battery side, didn't consider using the spanner as you have suggested, will have to go back and give it another go. Although I'm now wondering if it's even worth trying to adjust the OEM shock and should just go right ahead and purchase an upgrade.

    • @StagAdv
      @StagAdv  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m 190 ish pounds and after I adjusted the factory shock to its maximum level I saw very little improvement. I can’t recommend this yss shock enough, I’ll be posting a full review video on it soon. If you have the spending money I definitely recommend just replacing it.

    • @ZacharyUlrick
      @ZacharyUlrick 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StagAdv I like the styling. It uses the stock turn signals. Some of them have turn signals built into the brake light which I think is not very good. I can't image how that is even legal. The wiring you have to do yourself on the Yoshimura but its simple.
