No problem, that was a very extreme example. You can actually open and close the red valve and do it slowly to avoid the mess all together but if you overgas and open it right up, it will do that.
This looks cool. We used to have something called a 'Sparkel', which we used a great deal to make carbonated beverages. It's unique in that it simply uses baking soda and citric acid to create CO2. So, cheap to use and operate. Unfortunately, we tossed it because it grew mold inside in an area that was visible but completely unreachable. No way to take it apart and get it cleaned out. This seems like a really well thought out design that avoids having anything in the drink path that isn't able to be sanitized. I don't love having to get canisters but at least they're commonly recyclable. Will be interesting to know the price when this comes to the US.
Hi there thanks for watching, That sounds like a cool product, yeah I love how easy it is to clean and contain the mess if you make one. Yes I have 2 x C02 canisters and just get them swapped over for gas, cheaper that way as well.
It's already available through Williams-Sonoma for $250.

I just bought a Sage The infizz fusion - I had 7 bottles of water over 7 days (all with cold refrigerator water) and I have used one WHOLE C02 bottle 😮🤨
Have much gas/C02 is normal to use for one bottle of water ?

@@susannechristiansen7132 Hello, I'm still on my first initial CO2 bottle and I have carbonated over 10 bottles. I guess it can depend on how many pumps of gas you are putting into each bottle.

I have just hold the press down as long as I think "now it must be OK", a lot for hold down. 🙈
Maybe 1 or 2 push downs on the press would make the C02 bottle last one month ?
@@susannechristiansen7132 yeah when I read the manual it says you only need 1 second presses. I found about 3 presses , 1 sec each works best

I don't think the gas will hold overnight with 1-3 presses because it had not been holding the bubbles in the water overnight very good when I have had some water left.
I will try, maybe only make one glas of water/the amount I would drink.

My soda stream bottles have a juice line clearly marked on them. I carbonate juices and sangria and energy drinks all of the time. At 12:38 you said the soda stream bottles work with this but in the beginning you stated that they could not be used. Can you clarify ? Thanks. Also is this appliance made of metal or plastic ?
I think he means the SodaStream CO2 canisters work.
Hi There, sorry for the late reply. You can use the SodaStream CO2 Bottles but not the drink bottles. Yes I understand people use their Sodastream to fizz other things but they clearly tell you not to on their website. That's 100% your call. I like the fact with this there is no way the juice can get up into the internal components.
Soda stream bottles for drinking don’t fit but it uses the soda stream c02 canisters. It’s made of stainless steel but the underside is a gray plastic. It has a very high end look in person

could somebody please tell me what the hell happened to the price or CO2. I went to the 5 pound CO2 tank with the conversion hose a few years ago but with COVID price of CO2 has tripled at least.
I've seen people buying the large c02 canisters and then filling the smaller bottles up, I need to look into that.
Apparently you can fill them with dry ice , as it's way cheaper again.

So they basically stole Drinkmates product....you compare it to Sodastream, but really you shouldve compared it to Drinkmate. Drinkmate is a great product.
I'm comparing it to what a lot of people have in Thier homes already. I never heard of drink mate before people mentioned them.
