    I bought one after watching this and it’s as good as you said. Really comfortable and plenty of storage!!!! Thanks for the advice

    I had been looking for something like this for a while, really wanted to avoid the typical fanny pack etc, glad I waited, the Pulse Belt is great!

    very good review! convinced me to buy one. i was looking to store the poles while running (it feels so much easier to get them on-off from belt then from a quiver/vest)

    • @FilmMyRun
      @FilmMyRun  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes Ian I have both and though I like the quiver, it’s still much easier to use the straps on the belt

    Not the first or only belt of this nature around. The naked running belt has been around for some time and has a ton of storage as well as pole loops. Might be worth checking out.

    Awesome video review thanks! nice tip on the whole swizzle it around for easy access. Also didn't know about the option to add poles (not covered in other reviews I saw).

    I have one of these, it’s perfect for any run from long easy runs to 10k race runs, I hardly know I’m wearing it. The open pocket goes quite a way around which gives plenty of room for a soft 500ml bottle and some gels. The zipper is perfect for any phone and keys. Plus holders for poles…you don’t really need much more. Also, Salomon now provide the ADV skin belt which is a bigger version of this.

      I have two but they are getting old now. I should replace them or buy the newer Adv Skin belt

    I`ve got one. Very good item perfect for a few bits and pieces as you say. Havent tried carrying the camera in it, will give that a try at some point. Cheers.

    A full review of the pulse belt and absolutely no mention of sizing!
    Isn't that one of the main topics people like me want to understand?🤔

    • @FilmMyRun
      @FilmMyRun  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good point. I think I probably left it out deliberately to keep people watching to the end only to ultimately cause disappointment!!
      The Salomon Pulse Belt is available in five different sizes: XS, S, M, L, and XL. This allows for a range of fits to accommodate different body sizes, ensuring a snug and secure fit during activities [oai_citation:1,Pulse - Unisex Belt | Salomon](www.salomon.com/en-ca/shop/product/pulse-belt.html) [oai_citation:2,Buy PULSE BELT by Salomon Australia online - Salomon New-Zealand](salomon.co.nz/products/pulse-belt-9).

      @FilmMyRun Yes, that's the basic stats on the Salomon Web site.
      What people like me would be interested in is personal experience.
      Did you measure your hips/waist as the Salamon site suggested? What size was your waist? What size did you order? Were you happy with your sizing once fitted?
      The reason that it's key to include personal experience on sizing is that some running belts/packs don't appear to be sized correctly.
      On many of my own personal equipment, I've had to size up or down to my recommended sizing to get the best fit.

      @@rosslogan4154 I guess the reason I didn’t mention it in the review is because I didn’t consider it nearly as comprehensively as you. I just ordered a medium and it seemed fine. I can’t say any more than that.

    Hi Steve, great review and very useful. I have noticed that on some of your films you are wearing a OMM kamleika jacket. I have been looking at purchasing this jacket. Would you consider doing a review in this? including packed size, weight, how waterproof it is etc. Much appreciated. Keep on producing the great films!!

    Can it fit a 500ml soft flask? I am considering the high pulse belt to easily carry the flask without a hydration vest

    This needs to cinch up the trek poles or they bounce, rattle and fall out. Surprised it does not cinch down.

    • @FilmMyRun
      @FilmMyRun  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I often double wrap the elastic round the poles. Holds them tighter

    Can the hook at 4:45 be removed? I was planning on putting my phone in that front pouch and don't want it to be scratched etc.

    • @FilmMyRun
      @FilmMyRun  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually no it can't. There is a fabric loop which threads through a plastic loop on the hook. There is no way to separate the two.

    there is no bib number straps on this belt. so, it`s a huge flaw from salomon

    Does the belt restrict your breathing at all?

    • @FilmMyRun
      @FilmMyRun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No definitely not. You wear it lower down over the hips mostly so it doesn't restrict breathing.

    Having a zipper isn't ideal. With zipper, it will wear down and become difficult to open/close. Elastic pouch only is best
