I believe you just left Franciscan Desert Rose plates, possibly 1953-58 on the shelf. If so, they sell very well, heavy or not, very desirable, around $20/plate and up depending on condition.

The pig plate is from a snack tray. You can see circle to hold punch cup. Fun items…on the fence with bunny but know how you lov them,lol
Collectors who are familiar with the value of Franciscan Rose, Fiesta, roseville have a different aesthetic from thrifters who pick objects that appeal to them. Why did Goodwill not list the Franciscan for sale?
The employees at Goodwill in my area just don’t know. Prices are ridiculous for junk. It is sad to see quality items cast aside, or overlooked, simply because they aren’t a specific “style”. Many damaged pieces can be used in different ways. Such as used outside or remade into something different, but that a collector would recognize. I have bought and sold over the years. It takes time and effort to learn what items are worth. And I am sure there are those reading my comments who are fuming with smoke coming out their ears. The bottom line is if you want to do well and deal with quality pieces, you have to be willing to learn.
I dont think she just wants to sell stuff. She makes art from old stuff nobody wants and thats great.
The crewel art is my favorite, but I might not paint it because of the vintage, fall vibe.
The pig plate needs an amber cup to be a true snack plate for fall. I've never seen those before.
I really liked the brass piece. As for the cup on the plate, i would hang it on the fence and put birdseed in it or hang a plant out of it. I love thrifting with you at the bins!
The pink floral plates are vintage and called Desert Rose. They have lead in them but I have my grandmother's set
Very American taste, I think. I would not have bought any of those items.

Beautiful Franciscan plates that were left behind! I think the dishes at the bins are not sold by weight but per piece. Possibly a dollar each?

Franciscan desert rose plates and bowls are very valuable. Also, the was a blue and white item on the top shelf, possibly polish pottery which also sells well.

Ok, I was hoping you’d find a little tiny brass egg with a bunny on top. I saw it yesterday and almost got it. You would’ve loved it! Also, I got to know Ms Elizabeth (Liz) that works there and she said to tell you to “Please introduce yourself to me”😁She’s such a nice lady. We talked about your YT channel and how good you were. I have the Christmas mouse..! It was on one of my gifts when I was a baby. I was born in 1980 so, that Christmas mouse is older. I still hang it on my tree every year, lol.
My favorite item you found today is the crewel fall piece. I think paint the frame the same color green that’s in the piece. Ohhhh I got my package with my wooden heart tray & door knob today. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Julie, you cracked me up about the tea cup in the plated. The item was funny enough but your response was hysterical. I'm still chuckling. That needle work is from the 70's. You can tell by the colors. Harvest Gold, Avacado green and orange.....it more than likely matched the appliences in the house.
I like bunnies too. My Easter decor got outof control, soI have passed up a lot of bunnies. ❤
