Hi Romy. You're lucky to have so many different places to shop at. The first place is a little disorganized, but I'm sure if they had the time and staff to arrange things better, you'd find a few treasures. The Mikasa pattern is beautiful. The prices are a little high, but I would probably get the whole set. I'm nutty for square plates. What an incredible find! Thank you for bringing us along.
I adored the puddles the snowman and actually the texture on the terra cotta turkey candle holder was interesting. The leaf "ashtray" I really liked for a dollar. I really liked the miniature grecian terra cotta plate with no sticker price. "sorry if my child is the reason you drink" was hysterical after decorating trees today at work and listening to wailing children all day. Great episode .
Got the Greek plate for $1 - I have a big collection and love them. The turkey was interesting - definitely a handmade piece. Glad I made you laugh after a long day - ☺️
Shewww, that place needs to get rid of stuff and get organized. I agree with you about the knives...crazy people in this world 😢. I'm so happy you went to another store and found all the beautiful dishes. Lovely ❤
It was crazy how much stuff there was everywhere. I think the thrill of the hunt is definitely going to take me back there, though! And the prices were pretty great!
Great day! SO happy for your score at Goodwill. I found out that that Deseret runs hot and cold. I am starting to record what day and time I visit when I score big there. Weekends are a no-no!
I'll have to check out some of the other locations, for sure. As far as the Mikasa, I've loved that pattern for a while and finding so much all at once, I just couldn't ignore it. 🥰
Happy for your Mikasa finds! When I'm looking for something, my go-to is St Anthony! You also picked up several nice items that should sell well, plus your Yugoslavia items! Great pronunciation of Dubrovnik with the rolled R. 😊 Safe travels to Texas! ❤ The other store was really messy but had some good prices. I'd definitely visit again.
I go to Deseret Industries in Portland, Oregon. It's a one hours drive from my home. I find treasures there, but the shelves are always loaded and messy. I hope you enjoy your trip to Texas and find many treasures. 😊
I loved the blue butterfly butter dish, so I had to look it up. It is vintage Circleware and several have sold on eBay for $30 recently. Just wanted to share if you see it in the future. ❤
I would love to have DI in CO. I could go insane picking where you are. I saw tons to buy and resell. Love this new adventure. Again and again for making my day Romy!!!!
Here's what I learned from today's fun video: The Mormons need to get organized. P.S. Yes, Royal Norfolk is from Dollar Tree, which is now $1.25 so 26 cents fancier than the 99 cent store!
I wish I was your granny and lived by you so to hear your wonderful laugh
Great shopping today ❤
SCORE!!! 🥰🍁🦇
Romy great scores today the Mikassa, Waterford, everything just beautiful, thank you!!
It was definitely a fun and exciting trip!

Amazing trip friend. As always great fun
definitely still having fun! Hopefully your texas trip isn't too stressful, and you'll get a chance to check out their local thrifts :)
With all the pieces you found, I would have bought the creamer even though the sugar is missing. Great shopping day!

He's pretty darn cute. 🥰
I've found lots of great vintage at the Deseret location on Broadway in Mesa.
@@lisavalentin2284 I'll have to check that one out, too!!
