- This time I have filmed an incredible street-legal Ferrari F40 LM which has been modified with a straight pipes exhaust system in action during the 2020 Supercars Owner Circle in Gstaad. This insane F40 is made street legal and sounds outstanding!

Love how he avoids stop and go situations! Racecar clutch and gearbox makes the LM nearly impossible to drive on the street.

@@oldskool1979 probably only 3 civics in the whole world can beat a F40 LM thats 700 HP and around 2300lbs

I live in italy,and italy doesnt have the most supercar owners,at least not to germany's or Gb's extents.
There's a decent number of them not too many though.
Anyway,when i was 6 i saw this car a day when i was going to school,my granpa(may he rest in peace) was accompanying me ,and i saw an f40 in front of the school.
I went to hug it because i love cars in general especially Ferrari.
I'm crying as i'm writing this,but what happened was i saw my granpa cry for the first and the last time(he was a car mecchanic for alfa)
He told me: go to school,you'll become great if you study a lot ,and you'll get it
Now,i didnt get it i got cool cars not lambos not ferrari though,but i got an engineer degree

To the answer:bmw m5 e60 eisenmann(i'm trying to put a manual in there),and an audi r8 2017 year...I also had a s2000 acr edition but i gave it to my brother when it had 30 000 km,he sometimes lets me drive it

He had to take them wide, the LM was literally a track car put back on the road. The track cars had no turning radius because they had racing steering racks which respond to steering input much faster but do so at the expense of turning radius. A race car is nothing like a road car, the steering is heavy, fast, and usually has awful turning radius as a result. At race speeds is where that car shines.
F40 LM, the king of supercars.
If I won the lottery the F40 would be the only car out of that entire line-up that I'd buy.
Don't get me wrong the other cars are amazing, but I was born in the 80's and the F40 for me personally is the best car Ferrari ever made.
Even when the McLaren F1 came along it still couldn't beat the F40 from 0mph up to 100mph and then back to 0mph.
Ferrari shot themselves in the foot so bad with the F40 they never pit the F50 against it on the track because they knew the F50 couldn't get near it.
Unfortunately Ferrari never made a car to match it since and probably never will.
We can only hope that one day they will be because of the PC health and safety world we live in I don't see it happening.

The Ferrari may not have been the fastest of the bunch , or handled the best , and certainly not the most comfortable , but it's cool factor towers over all the others and in my opinion the one I'd most like to own !

F40 the best car for' me
It must be so awesome to roll up in an F40LM regardless of what else is around. It was the F40 on steroids and that car gets immediate respect. It was Enzo's final product and the only perfect Ferrari that will ever be produced. The only difficult parts would be driving the reduced turning lock and the race clutch at such low speeds. I'd choose it over every other car there without hesitation or thought.

Is it just me or do they not know how to drive a stick. Dragging the clutch and stalling over and over. Maybe it just a yuppie thing but if you constantly need to over Rev the motor to keep it running. It not tuned properly.
Its an actual race car its different than a normal car with the stick.
@@6thsense464 my track bike idles just fine. I can ram thru all 6 gears without the clutch. Either terrible tuning or inexperienced driver.
@013 Tilly pretty simple. Doesn't matter if it's a motorcycle or a overpriced car. A motor is a motor and it provides force to move you in a direction. Not rocket science.

Can someone explain the history of the LM version? I wasn't aware there was an LM variant. I know in McLaren F1 there was in the F40 - never heard of it
