Thanks! I can no longer get by with less than 3 delay pedals (or one with presets & dual delay). One for minimal slapback to 'widen' my base tone. Another to set at the many flavors of slapback. And a third for the longer 'soaring leads' settings. I've come to prefer three separate pedals over presets fwiw.
Haha, I always thought I was being cheap, using echo to embiggen my electric/acoustic but it wasn't 'til I applied it to distorted electric that the lights came on, so to speak. And with rpts wound round to full, and delay wound back to one it's downright rude. Great vid as ever, sir.
Love it and use it all the time for blues solos, you can get a very similar Robben Ford sound, greetings from Mallorca, Spain👍🏼

Great video Mike, thanks for reminding me about the coolness of slapback, some times we forget things, this is very inspirational sound! Rock on!👍
Aww thank you, glad to help give you a nudge.
Sounds great! Hope you get to feeling better soon!!
Thank you!
Great and inspiring video! I never used delay but will certainly dive into it!
Thank you, let me how you get on with it.

04/26/2023: I want slap-back Rockabilly, and Country Twang. Is there a pedal under $100.00 that also just has the delay and no echo/reverb?
my delay is always on :) as a slapback yes :) it's my secret weapon to play a little better
Nice chops bro your rockn it🔥🔥🔥🔥

I’m gonna tell you right now, for about 90% of my playing in my bar band I’m using a slap back.

Inspiring ? Socks ?
Yes! The eyebrow lift in beginning had me doing a spit take ...

Do it using a baritone guitar.
Sounded like a backing track..
Yep one I did and will be on my Patreon. 😊
Ohhhh noooo a sock demo ! You wouldn't catch Andy doing sock demos. You need to invest in some kicks for the sake of the channel.
Hahaha.. socks are where the tone is at!
@@MikeBradleyofficial haha suppose at least it wasn't a hairy toe demo.
@@mapledelight exactly!
The 50s stuff would be reverb. I dont think they had delay peddles back then.
It was recorded using tape delay the echoplex and one by Watkins were the early ones.
I Like the sound but you play far to much
Thanks Mike' PARAFLIGHTJOE on youtube Approves..🤪👍👌
Very much appreciate it.
