I love your videos! Very helpful! I am a newer re-enacter and I didn’t know where to get most of these items. Keep making these awesome videos! Thank you!
I’m a big proponent for using originals over reproductions for field gear. First, they obviously look correct , second, when I attend public display re-enactments, I like to show off the real thing to the public as well as have the curious public get to touch and hold the real deal. Field gear is still, for the most part, affordable and plentiful.... and when the price differences compared to some reproductions versus originals, for just a few dollars more, you might as well get the original item, not to mention the investment factor on original items you acquire will almost always increase in worth as opposed to reproductions that decrease in value as soon as you touch it.
When you mention repro kar98 bayonets aren't good, I recommend you to see some of the ones At the Front has. They're great. I seen one and thought it was an original. I use a ab44 bayonet myself. But saying all repros are bad is a myth. Your comment on postwar mess kits is flawed. Many postwar variants are identical to my originals. I use a 63 dated mess kit that is identical besides being dated 63. Correct lugs, handle, shape and size.
World War Guy yeah well the ss average is probably like over 100 due to the ss mass killing. But the army of axis power risked a lot of things due to bad planning, so realistically speaking they didn’t kill that much people before dying unless they operated tanks or artillery.
Well of course in America were they price gouge the 💩 out of you vs other countries where you can get the same thing but cheaper. Its alway better to buy non American stuff
What I love about the Netherlands and Belgium is that theres loads of great antique stores wich I never (rarely) seem to find in Germany
With the Germans you can wear canvas y straps from 1943ish onwards or use canvas stuff as leather shortages meant canvas was used
At the front is sold out on every thing it feels like
That means people are buying.
Keep checking every few days
Bruh they have a dot 44 camo uniform for sale but not the standard field grey uniform on their website, like wtf?
Panzer of the Lake
I know right
@@panzerofthelake1623 they took them out of the shelves a couple years ago
Needed this! Thanks a bunch!
Mazza Bros. Gaming glad I could help!

For people's clarification it is texled not textile and cocomomo not cocamo. I understand it was just a simple mistake
XxkillswithcxX thank you for that.

Gefreiter Kessler Bessemer IMA has made some great bayonets before, the wooden one I bought from there was top quality and worked pretty well.
@@anglishbookcraft1516 *worked highly well* Uh, you went around stabbing people?
Mazza Bros. Gaming yes, anyway no, it was flawless and fooled many into thinking it was original.
Awesome video bro, thanks!
Thomas van Dorsten thank you.
World war guy did some germans find and use light blue wool blankets
rod garage everyday they were not issued that. But during harsh winters, it is possible some may have used that.
Great video
IamK thank you.
I buy reanacting gear from a army navy store at the front and international military antiques
You can get exact reproductions of mess kits for like 30 when an original is used and much more like 70-200
JP Cars I have never seen any company make reproduction ww2 German mess kits.
Wtf mess kit is 30 where i live 😂
@@worldwarguy459 Some mess kit from bundewerh post war are like 10e , its good for reproduction
@@clement9120 yeah I live in the states I live in nc that might be why they are so cheap idk
I bought a Romanian one for $30 it's the same you just have to repaint them. Better than a reproduction with incorrect hinges for the handle.
You should do another early war kit since you have a tornister
They reproduce the mess kits on Amazon but you have to buy all of them separately
Yo should do an updated canteen collection video
What is the straps you have on Zeltbahn ? How do you wear that or attach it to pack or y straps? Thanks
Where to buy the tent in the hogh part of the image, I'm not good at english so if you mentioned I haven't understand
What's the difference between textiled and not
I’m new too this where do you recommend buying a K98 or other weapon from
If your new to this then don’t rush in and get a gun
Evike airsoft gun, it’s plastic but it looks legit and it can shoot bbs
Or you could get it from ww2 gear .com
Where was all the equipment purchased from, can you tell me or send me a link to it?
If I get a original german mess kit should i use it for its purpose or just for show?
DO NOT WEAR ORIGINAL GAS MASK THEY HAVE ASBESTOS IN FILTERS AND INSIDE
That’s mostly Russia’s fasmasks
@Zombie thanks
@@noahmations8211 not true at all every country in ww2 used asbestos all british gas mask filters confrimed blue and white asbestos
Is the German world war II gas mask safe to wear
Captain Myrick no, the filters contain asbestos
World war guy can you buy filters that are safe
The safe filters would not be accurate for the mask.
I wouldn’t use the mask anyways considering it’s almost 80 years old.
Does IMA have good repro tornisters?
JKhyway I’ve heard that they need a lot of work to improve them. Buy an original instead.
What kind if belt is that?Em?
Observed Fob 131 it’s the standard belt. Not the officers kind.
Did heer and waffen ss officers also issued and wore the enlisted man's full fieldgear as shown above when on the actual battlefield?
Panzer of the Lake not everything. Officers had some different items issued to them.
he world war guy got a german backpack voor 45 bucks in holland
ww2 82nd airborne division in Europe they are much cheaper than the US
*ebay*
the average german soldier killed 2 allies before dying
Slav Pepe I do not believe that that is true.
If you have actual evidence, I’d like to see it though.
