The German female Hitler Youth counterpart, the Bund Deutscher Mädel, League of German Girls, was tasked with many activities to improve themselves for Nazi Germany. One of them was to collect donations from the German people to help improve the lives of those in need. This can is one example of many different kinds. Girls would go around their neighborhoods to collect both bills and coins duri...
Artillery can be dangerous if not properly handled, therefore it is important to transport the fuze that would help detonate the bomb in a separate compartment. Therefore, these little containers were used. This example is a World War 2 German fuze container for photoflash bombs. These bombs were used to illuminate the ground during nighttime flying to take clear photos of possible targets. The...
World War 2 Indian Khulla (Turban Cone)
During World War 2, India was allowed to continue to embrace their various cultures and religions by continuing to wear their unique headgear. Here we will look at the turban cone, Khulla, which was used primarily by Muslim Indians. These are a unique piece of World War 2 headgear but are cool nonetheless.
My Entire Military Helmet Collection
Helmets are arguably an addiction for me. And thus my collection has grown since my last helmet collection video. Here I show off my collection of 56 helmets ranging from World War 1 to the early 2000s and a variety of countries from North America, Europe, and South America, and Asia. As you may notice, I talk a lot while talking about helmets. So I hope you enjoy!
The U.S. M1878/04 Haversack, A Closer Look
Let's take a quick look at what the United States was using prior to the well known M1910 haversack. The M1878/04 haversack was used from 1878 all the way to the First World War in some capacity. These were of simple yet effective design and are an awesome item of US history. All of these bag are not well over 100 years old but still display nicely and come with plenty of history. I do sell the...
History Book Recommendations
Much of History is not always easily found online in video format, therefore, books are a vital source to gather more information. Here are some of my favorite books that I have read that speak about various periods of history. Book 1: King Leopold's Ghost by Adam Hochschild Book 2: The Nanjing Massacre by Honda Katsuichi Book 3: Belgium In The Second World War by Jean-Michel Veranneman Book 4:...

SM Wholesale Roughout Boots 7 Year Review
I have worn SM Wholesale roughout boots since December of 2015. As of today they still hold up well despite the miles I have put in them! Through water, snow, mud, gravel, sand and more, they have held up perfectly. Not only that but they are one of the most accurate reproduction boots out there for your US impression. As long as SM Wholesale has not changed the quality, you can not go wrong wi...

Thanks for the information, i have a weird one that has the date on the outside that says ST. CLON. G. CO. i dont know if it says CLON for sure i cant make it out. But i think the date on it is either 1913 or 1943 and it is the slimmer khaki version.
there is not much reenacting in sweden so im just gonna try to get most of the orginal stuff for a wehrmacht uniform on like a mannequin
I cant find it anywhere online; how exactly did German soldiers tie their boots? Was there a specific tie?
Great job explaining how to remove the bolt.. NOT.
@@michaellino793 I literally show it being removed within 1:30 of the video 😂
Just got one and it helped me, thanks!
The Grade 1 you have available, does it have rings or hooks on the back? I need one with rings since I somehow acquired the leather strap for one of these, unfortunately it only has one of the brass hooks, I doubt I'll find another so I'll probably have to make one somehow.
Germans noted how effective the Belgian Hi Power pistol was, they loved capturing it and even began production of it after Belgium was occupied.
For all people in europe that have access to E-bay, there is a good seller who sells acctual Erel reproductions for around 50€ (with shipping) ^^
Fun fact, the 56 dated Bundeswehr messtin i own (a mix of gray and olive green, defently not NVA) is basicly identical to the Wehrmacht one, the hook is still held on with friction, no holds no indent to keep it in place and the "handle" mounts are identical too... Your post war probably looks different because its from 2007 and not almost 70 years old XD (yes even femboys can be collectors ^^)
I got the original one 😊
something that might be interesting if he was someone special back then (but i don´t know about that), i have around 10-12 post cards from 1934-36 from my great grand uncle who was in the reichswehr from 34-35, joined the Wehrmacht as a gefreiter in 35 and went to the Officers school in late 36 and bacame a officer in 37, he later fought in Poland France and in 42 even in leningrad, russia... in the rank of a Oberst! now i understand why my grandfather and father are dissapointed in me for the way i am... (i mean i had two SS Great grand fathers, and my father and grandpa are both " a little" right winged.... so that could also be a reason...) some of those postcards have Germania on them, some Hitler and some have, i think Hindenburg on them if i remember correctly, i doubt it was a Kaiser, but i am not sure if it was Hindenburg... my grandmother wants to gift them and some other pictures and documents to me for christmas (i am 17... well i suppose better than nothing) so i will maybe correct the comment if i was wrong ^^
if it wasn´t a 5 hour drive from my home, there is a US army and Bundeswehr military shop that sells original 40s marked german Mess tins for 10-20€ each, 30s and WW1 Tornisters and Backpacks (also german) for under 80€ in mint condition! and he has 2-3 "coconut" Field bottles for 30€ each! some with a "aftermarket" cloth and one with the correct straps... for 30€ each! he also has other ww2 items like the classic "officers" leather coats in green and black marked from the 40s to more modern ones from the 80s... but those are expensive, as they are 120-150€... or the good old swiss Great coats that looked similar to the M40/M42 ones
Is the ww2 haversack available
I have an original shell, and I’m wondering if PFLCO will repaint parts of it. The original paint is mostly there but I don’t want to strip it, it has a little bit of surface rust but can be delicately scrubbed off without damaging the paint
The at the front gloves are good aswell just like they say in the description not the warmest but accurate
for the originals they came in 2 colors tan/Kake or od green not just green . some times even with good quality can be a bit junky i got a pistle belt from what price glory after having it for 2 ta 4 weeks in to it 1 of the eyelets came off and the little huck that a tachis to the mettle Gromit in between the belt to keep it the size u need it to be . i had to huck it to the gromet and then tern it Sidways and hit it with a hammer to keep it from coming lose and keeping it frum coming aun doon to. other than that a good belt for what it is . now 7 months latter no more trouble from it . i Yous it just as a hiking blet other than that no problems . so a Gean some times good dues not meen quality
Probably not gonna se this but would it be historical accurate to wear the older model of tunic with a camo smock over? And if yes which camo would be most historically accurate
The backyard of a helmet collector....do u have any salamander helmets?
@@ryanmrowka8970 if you watch the video, you can see that I unfortunately do not.
Probably a morman....mum dad i wanna collect ww2 stuff....ok son start with canteens and when u have them all you can go from there......ok
@@ryanmrowka8970 didn’t know collecting canteens made me Mormon 😂😂
What is the straps you have on Zeltbahn ? How do you wear that or attach it to pack or y straps? Thanks
Amazing video well done for profiling so much detail and historical information
Hi, can you help me? Where can I buy the stickers that go on the helmet?
Can you tell me where to buy the very best boots
If you’re doing this in California the bbs will give you cancer. If you’re outside the state you should be fine though 😂
My friend that looks like a Dunhill pipe. That is a very valuable pipe.
The M1 was a way better helmet that the German M35 M40, but will never be as valuable.
Your estimate for this helmet is way off are you buying everything from e-bay? Single decal from dealers are going at 1,000 and up to 1,500 depending on condition.
hey could you please make a video of you surviving a day as a Belgian soldier in WWII
No such thing as "m40/55"
If I send you a picture, can you give me an idea of the time frame for my canteen? I don't see any that are similar in your videos. Thanks!
I prefer sm wholesale they make good ones as well
Sabaton clothes
Did you find any lot, serial no.#? When you stripped it ? Or remnant of denaziafacat? Or did you not stripped the inside
ya know whats sad: thousands of these are found on dead men rusted forgotten each year
Just ditch the white undershirt and fill your bandoliers.
i saw ur shop its awesome
@@icecooler21 thanks!
No wonder they lost where is the skibidi toilet
Run into mud, Run with the Tunic. Walk in hot days. And so on. Dont do this.
Soldiers lived in their tunics during the war. While natural weathering might help, it won't give it an authentic look like artificially weathering it will.
I need to email you so you could take a gander at the one I have
Is the shape of the M 59 helmet and the M 59/85 helmet visually different from the side of an outsider when viewed from the side? I have an M 59 and I don’t know if it’s worth buying an M 59/85 if there is no visual difference.
i will give you a hard time if you use a bundeswehr mess kit
I love ZULU
Definitely gonna be a good restoration project. Or, just replace the liner and the chinstrap, and have the shell keep it's rustic look.
I’m gonna buy a matching number AWS44 late war German bayonet for 200 dollars, what do ya think?
Dutch soldier were paranoid that if they got it by a sniper on the badge it would be a cleaner penetration so some of them tried to remove it
Heh bud, can I get a response from u. I left 2 comments and u didn't respond
The color is also all wrong. I have NOT been pleased with my WW2 impressions items.
Does anyone have any experience with the kelleys militaria m31 canteen? Because i would like to buy one
And tunics on a 10 $ budget ?
