    When the lightweight AC assault boosted at you as you drove away on Dunes that was funny as heck. It was like "ew! shoo fly get away from me" lol

    I would not use pulse armor purely because you cant use your shield while its in effect.

      Lol well why would you use at the same time anyway? It would be a waste of the pulse armor

      @@LongTim- uhh.... if you could use at the same time you could get more value out of the pulse armor
      Pulse armor = extra hp
      Using a shield gives percentage damage and stagger reduction.
      If you could use both together pulse armor would have a lot more effective value.

      ​​@@morioh6623Pulse armor is also entirely temporary though - more of a buff for health or an "oh shit" button than actual effective health. If his shield is overloaded he can pop it to cover himself until it's back.

    You should do a comprehensive walkthrough guide for the game. Nobody else has even started doing that yet. It’s really weird how influencers more or less abandoned this game the day it came out. Contrast to Elden ring which had so much content on it for months on end.
    I’m halfway through chap 3. Not sure if anyone else is still playing. I’m sure they are but it doesn’t feel that way.

      It seems like a lot of the content around the game got immediately centered around the PVP. Fighting AI isn't terribly difficult if you've mastered the controls, but fighting other people means you've got tons of build options and infinite pilot variety (Meta, meta slayers, gimmick builds, cosplay builds, everything in between)

      True. But I’m still at the point where I’m just starting to get good at pve. And a ton of other players are still there too. The game just came out less than one month!

      @kirbyis4ever this definitely seems to be the case. Most of the bosses can be difficult the first time through, but once you know the fight become much easier. Still, plenty of people are struggling, so it could be worth doing.

      @@alcoyot I am rather surprised that nobody has made a walkthrough too. We have videos showing where to get the battle logs and all the parts but no long plays or anything like that. It's kinda weird.

    This is almost like the tank I run with, frame parts are all the same. But your AC name and colouring is so funny and creative. Nice to see a fellow "tanky" tank player.
    My tank uses dual wield LRBs and LCS on the shoulder with Coral shield on the other shoulder. OST upgrades are spread between energy damage increase, damage reduction, critical hit damage increase and pulse armor. Generator was, if I remember correctly, that one which has the 2nd highest energy firearm specialization. That generator is one more damage boost on top of the rest. At best these are 1.15 (energy) × 1.15 (direct hit) × 1.14 (generator energy firearm spec) = 1,5 x energy damage when the enemy is staggered or 1.31 x when the enemy is not staggered.
    I like to first use Coral shield when in the first engagement, and when the shield is out and I become close to staggering, I use pulse armor to reset the stagger. When that is over, Coral shield is pretty much ready again. This allows the build to be able to slow down and/or prevent stagger 3 times in a row. This gives plenty of time to stagger the opponent... Which consequently means that the opponent gets deleted since LRBs and LCS can deal so much damage when used together with the damage upgrades.
    My build deals more raw dps but it has worse ranged abilities. I can eat anything at close-to medium range but sniper builds and speedy long-range hit-and-run style missile builds are quite difficult to deal with.

    I find it so funny that everyone gets so close to one another in this game. I get it: your accuracy is higher and you get to put out more damage if you're in close range, but in PvP, that means your opponent does as well. All these lightweights that practically hump a heavyweight opponent and then get one-shotted, as though they wouldn't be 100x better off hanging back and using their massively superior mobility to stay at their weapons' (and FCS's) optimal range.
    Especially if that heavyweight is also bearing a shield. You can't QB with a shield at the ready, so it's so easy to land slower attacks. That second 1v1 opponent could have so easily whittled the Pinata down by hovering at the effective range of their needle missile launchers and won through attrition. But nobody has the patience for it.

      True. Though a hard part is also the timeframe. If my needle missiles hit one it can take 1/4 to 1/3 of a lightweights health, while it will take them alot longer to do that to me. You run the risk of ti.ing out as well. Though AC6 does seem to heavily incentivise closer range play.
      I would agree though that lightweight should take advantage of better distance weapons.

      @@LikelyFeral I wonder, does a time-out call a victor with the higher AP value or the higher AP percentage? I'd assume the latter, which would still allow a lightweight to win if they simply played smart around a build like this.
