I’m normally fishing lake mead or Mohave and the jig bite is picking up. Can’t wait to get out there and try some new jigs I just got. Thanks for the tips and suggestions Sean it’s much appreciated. Have a great rest of your week tight lines !!!
I loved pitching and flipping swim jigs when I was on the delta... but now that I'm up north I struggle jig fishing offshore here on Shasta and the surrounding bodies of water
Shasta is a great jig lake. The keitech jig is really popular there, or the Bass Union, or the Beast Coast finesse. 4 inch Yamamoto twin tail or Ned bait as a trailer.
@@TheAverageAngler thanks, I toss a Yamamoto hula grub on a finesse football head, never tried m2 from kietech ... I seemed to notice once to many people start throwing a popular bait I don't get bit the same on a proven fish catcher....
@@TheAverageAngler frustrating I can't get bit on a jig on Shasta I've seen people wack them on it ... but most of the time I'm in a yak with no electronics makes it a little bit tough at times ....

I have a jig of some type, tied on all year. My boat has literally pounds of Yamamoto products. I pour all my own jigs and save big $.
That’s awesome. I’m a jig fanatic as well.
Hello Again, your instructional videos are the BEST on utube! I ALWAYS, can’t wait for the next one! Thank you 👍🏻 tight lines brother!

Tubes is something I will cover soon.

@ianj3785 sometimes fishing uphill can be amazing there.
@ianj3785 try different types of bank. Keep looking for different stuff until you dial it in. You will key in on it.
I also just got a good deal on some Mizmo 4 inch tubes 36 for $5.50 so I bought 2 bags of 2 different colors
I have one tied every month of the year.
Don’t blame ya. I always have one or two tied on but may not take it out of the rod box.
