Let's be honest guys, these Microsoft guys or team are sparing no costs and efforts to get the best of the best in all aspects. Look at the amount of work they put into it, the expensive microphones and professional gear to capture the audio. Can't wait to see the complete simulator.
Good sum up and mindblowing. The rain sound was on point, like everything else. The materials, lighting and i can't get over that grass fooliage. And good sign they bring the SDK that early.Good things ahead!
I don't think I have never been so excited about any game, or simulation. What I'm seeing of MSFS 2020 just keeps getting better, and better, and OMG !! the thunder and lighting is the best, and most realistic I have ever seen in any version of flight simulator, or any previous games I have ever played. Awesome !!!
@@sauicaen Not sure what you mean by benchmark, but if your talking about computer specs, I have kind of got a fairly decent system, which I hope should be able to run the sim at fairly good graphics settings, but I think one of the most important things with MSFS 2020 is internet speed from what I can gather.
Thunder is always the most underwhelming sound in most games or movie. Always sounds like the canned Hollywood sound effect that's more like someone banging on metal barrels. This, here, is almost believable which is amazing actually 😅
I always pay attention to that, when games have wind effects they usually never put that kind of detail in or as much as they should, it was the first thing i was looking at since i wanted to see if it would change and i am glad that it does have that effect/attention to detail.
I hope they do that amout of sound detail for the big jets too.. because imaging boeing will just provide a 747-8 for sound recording makes me worries :D
From the looks of the video, it seems Microsoft has put and still putting a huge amount of work involving the detail in sound engine for each aircraft. The fact that they partnered with each manufacturer to record every aspect of sound, from just about every angle. That alone says that it most likely won't disappoint. Microsoft spent too much time and money for FS 2020 to not sound as realistic as possible...
That doppler effect in those demo clips needs to drop another 1 or 2 semi tones when the aircraft passes. The resultant 'note' it lands on is too high. I know a lot of it is based on what the 'ear' is doing speed wise too .. but generally for a standing still flyby it dips lower on what they have shown currently.
I can’t wait... the funny part is... these audio professionals are amazing with creating perfect aircraft noises... however, timing this guys lips with the voice audio cracks me up... I’ll be in line for this program...on the first day!!!
