Funny you say the side plot was Beth, to me that side plot was Jerry and he wasn't an idiot at all. He saw that Beth was not getting to do what she wanted, and the pressures from both sides was messing her up. So he hired the ice cream guys and tricked them, the lawyers gunner and doctors, all just so he could let Beth perform the operation she wanted to. Jerry was smart, considerate, crafty and a great husband in this episode.
Obviously a lot of people each have their own various impressions, but to me personally so far up to s5 the show just gets better at least on average maybe not EVERY ep better than the last but on the whole it's an upward trend to me no question However... The "origin story" of Einstein is still high on my list I *VILL* mess vit time......! I _vill_ He was just some dude, doing normal a$$ maths. One random act of violence later............ 'Cuz some people talk about that in real life, that Einstein just worked at a patent office, sure he was intelligent but how do you just intuit models of reality from a desk job patent office thing. Well now we know. One day he was pushed too far, and he accomplished it not through genius and consideration but rather through sheer force of will and spite Poor lil guy
