As an OG Counter-Strike player, I know that the information provided in this video was not complete. I have used both the types of mousepads of different brands. What my experience says is:
Control Type: High in-game sensitivity
Speed Type: Low in-game sensitivity
I would personally recommend you to buy a speed type mousepad and reduce your in-game sensitivity if you are new to the world of FPS games.

I don't know how much you have done gaming but according to my personal experience speed pad is overall best for all shooting stuffs and more. Control is only good when you're playing a strategy game where there isn't much of a need for precession. I recommend speed to anyone but go for control when u have experienced it personally for what u wanna use it for.

I was gaming with a home made mouse pad. I took a piece of cardboard, took printouts of Doom Eternal and CS GO posters, pasted them onto the cardboard, wrapped the cardboard in a plastic film and sealed it. It was working pretty fine. Just yesterday I purchased Red Gear speed type gaming mouse pad.

bhai middle mei thoda galat hogaya , speed hoya control apke playstyle pe depend karta hai agar ap high sens hai to control le kyoki apko mouse control karne me easy hoga agar apka sens low par khelte hai to spee lei kyoki apko flick karne mai aur movement mai easy hoga (bina mouse pad ke low sens se) sirf sens pe depend karta hai speed hoya control. Mai boloon toh dono kharidye aur try kare kaunsa apko fit karta hai aur akhri mai game pe bhi depend karta hai

My experience is entirely Diffrent
I think it is more important to identify the thing you are worse at instead of looking at your play style
So here is my experience
( There are 3 types of mouse pads btw ) (there are 2 types of surfaces )
Speed pads are generally better for those who are not the best at tracking because the extra inertia can be really Bad for your tracking experience so if you flick better than you track get a speed pad
If you are the guy who is balanced at both of them hybrid pads are going to be great for you
If you are the guy who is not the best at flicking 1 shot accuracy is quite important for flicking btw that is why that extra inertia can be really good so a control pad who be recommended
I would recommend to avoid trusting brands and there classifications they are going test with weirdest mouse feets ever to market it in a really impractical way
Speed pads - 10 to 17 grams of force anything below that can be accessible
Hybrid pads - 18 to 22
Control pads - 22 to 35 anything above than that is excessive and can be really bad
Here are some pad recommendations excluding artisan pads offcourse way to expensive hard to get and take a long time to ship
Speed pads - glorious ice pads , zowie gtfx , mm300 , g440
Hybrid pads - glorious fire pad , fnatic dash , mp510 , g240 , gigantus v2 , razer strider , g640 , Hyper x fury s
Control pads - gsr / gsr se , qck not that durable but usable , qck heavy pretty durable , fury s speed edition ( this is the reason I would not trust brands this thing has speed in its name and it is Ridiculously slow ) , xray pads aqua control + , qck
I prefer hybrid mouse pads
Spinbot control is best for budget I was thinking of getting hyperx how's it not a Speed Pad ? And I wanted s hybrid first Can't afford fnatic dash I like g240 but heard it tears fast that made me worry

@@noiroitoi331 gigantus v2 is a good pad The g240 is way to tiny for me Tbh also the hyper x fury speed is actually a hybrid pad for some reason it is not a speed pad they have Just listed it as a speed pad but in reality it is not a speed pad
And also the diffrence between the speed edition and the standard edition is minimal
Try to get the gigantus V2 from the official retailers like md computers it is selling for around 1700 there 15 dollars on MSRP though
