    overall summary:
    RTX 3060 to 3070: 550w psu with 5600x
    RTX 3060 to 3080: 650w psu with 5800x
    RTX 3090 PC: 850w psu with any CPU
    RGB = More FPS
    get a high res monitor with high refresh rate, 1440p is the new norm
    get a mechanical keyboard and a good mouse
    pea size drop of thermal paste
    USE PBO for AMD CPUs and overclock them as near to 5ghz as you can
    Overclocking Intel CPUs isn't much benifit
    overclocking CPUs like i5 or ryzen 5, i7 or ryzen 7 is fine but no need to overclock i9 or ryzen 9, they already have a high frequency, just turn on PBO for any AMD ryzen CPU
    don't overspend on motherboard
    get a good cabinet for best looks
    use high frequency RAM but not more than 3800Mhz for DDR4
    overclock your RAM but not more than 3800Mhz
    overclocking is good
    get a good CPU, it really changes day to day usage experience, 6 cores is a good upgrade for anybody

  • @hardeep1singh

    You've made some very good points. Overclocking performs best of high-end binned CPUs, on mid to low end CPUs you're just wasting time. Great point about peripherals, a 1440p 144hz monitor, Corsair HS50 headphones, Mechanical keyboard and a Logitech G502 mouse will do a lot more for your gaming accuracy than going from Ryzen 3600 to 3600X ever will.

  • @equaniman647
    @equaniman647 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    1. Quad cores are enough for budget gaming paired with mid range cards i.e GTX 16xx or RTX/GTX xx60 and 3050/3050tis.
    2. Buy a good thermal paste and dont bath ur CPU in it.
    3. AMD processors prefer faster RAM for better performance.(3000-4000mhz is more than enough)
    4. Buy an SSD whatever the capacity even if just for the OS it really makes a difference.
    5. Donot over spend on motherboards please, a mid range CPU needs a mid range board with slight upgradabilty.
    6. PSU does matter, but prefer quality over wattage(look for 80+bronze, gold certification) . Buy a trusted model with a slight margin in wattage and a 3-10 year warranty(Depending on budgets and builds) for upgrading down the line.
    5. Buy a 144-240HZ monitor IPS (1080/1440/2560p), a good mouse and keyboard, a case with moderate airflow.
    The most important things:
    Buy RGB lights, it gives more fps and makes you an aimbot(Joking please don't hurt me)
    I don't think anyone will need to think about this for now with how prices and stocks are for CPU/GPUs as of now and almost no one is able to get their hands on a 30XX Card or anything on AMDs side at the moment at MRP.
    Anyways, reference for the future I guess.

    Do cable management effect in performance

      If your cable management is quite messy, it might interfere with the airflow. However the chance of that happening is quite low. Regardless of that, you should manage your cables to improve the overall look of your system.

  • @equaniman647

    I don't know about NVIDIA though, the 3xxx cards are more power hungry than last gen. Yes they are definitely effecient but their requirements say a 750w psu for a 3070 and 850w for a 3080 so even if these are overkill a 750w PSU isn't it of the question. Also the bronze/gold ratings matter if you decide wattage and effeciency. Lower the wattage prefer gold over bronze unless using really low demanding hardware as cheap PSUs tend to leave out quality components such as quality capacitors, quality voltage regulators, better connectors and certain protections. Better protect your components by investing in a safe supply than have minor or major issues down the line. A good PSU will provide a 5-10 hear warranty so you can change your pc entirely and won't need a PSU for a decade.
    3060 can get away with a quality 550w psu, a 3070 with a 600-650w is more than enough and a 3080 is probably better off with a 750w(Not that anyone's able to buy these at MRP, SMH SIGH*) but preferably atleast a bronze certified PSU from Corsair, Seasonic, Silverstone, evga, XPG etc.
    DO NOT BUY Zebronics, circle or artis ones please. The corsair VS/CV is only good when using 75W GPUs that take power from motherboards and a lower 65-95w CPU but are way better than the former.
    That's my PSU rant.
