Also worthwhile for a "Volume II" would be the "Spartacus!" module, which was an expansion for the Caesar Conquest of Gaul base game. Originally published by C3i (which is part of GMT) and has 5 battles. This module was highly regarded but good luck finding it at any price now.
Another "split" expansion module is "War Elephant" which originally contained two battles: Raphia (217 BC) and Magnesia (190 BC). Magnesia is now in the deluxe SPQR (2018), while Raphia is in the latest "GB of Alexander" (subtitled Macedonian Art of War, 2023). The new Alexander's Raphia says it's a "reappraisal" of that battle, thus it may have some changes from the original War Elephant module.
I thought GMT said that Caesar in Alexandria is forever out of print? It's map style was something different, I believe that's why Berg/Herman only tried that style one time.
@@stevendolges8372 Alan Ray was talking about Caesar in Alexandria + The Siege of Alesia Dual Pack on Consimworld forum a few years ago. It should be realeased after War Galley Deluxe and Devil's horsemen Deluxe....so it could take about 10 years at least i guess.
hi, thank you for these two videos, I just ordered this game having no old versions. did you have the opportunity to play Against the Odds 53 - ROME INC if so when did you think? thank you
It does for Caesar except the battles of the warrior queen, which was an expansion for Caesar Conquest of Gaul. For SPQR, you will want the latest printing of SPQR. Between JCD and SPQR you would have the expansion content from Jugurtha, which was an expansion for "both" but got split in the deluxe printings, which makes sense.

Certain battles are not included as they were not done by myself or Berg.
Just got my copy today. Still a huge, excellent package, and a great value. I've never had any of this material before now.
Thanks for the clarification. I'm still waiting on my JC to go w my SPQR.

Could be the case. But one can always hope.

Steven, so this edition includes the expansion modules to Caesar and SPQR. Correct?
