Hi, thank you very much for this video. I would be happy to see more. :) I am new to the game and started studying a few days ago, but what makes me struggle is line composition and line command, so unintuitive :). My question is, in 55:XX minute, are you able to issue line commands with the momentum leader? First, you did a momentum check, successfully, but I didn't note the check for Line command in momentum orders(which must be less than the TC initiative). Second, can you move all the units? You had no "consecutive" line of adjacent units I think. But once again, you can not imagine how your videos are helpful :)
Thank you so much for kind words; as for your observations - I do not have rules / scenario set-up handy but let me try to answer from top of my head: 1) for Line Command, I definitely should roll the TQ check in momentum to see if I can do it; in the heat of the battle such things happen, and when you play solo, there is no opponent to point that out to you 2) as for the Line Command composition, it depends on units; sometimes there might be interval of 1-2 hexes between the units (oftentimes skirmishers) and still count as the line. As said, I do not have scenario details but please check what does it say about line command eligibility and then cross check the rules how it would work for particular type of the unit.
Your starting setup is different from the scenarios book (you have Gaul cavalry all on the left, the scenarios book has it divided on both flanks). Is that some errata?
No errata here. Please look at the description of the set-up. It says -for barbarian cavalry (BC) - that it can be placed up to 2 hexes from 1100. I preferred to have them grouped in one place, rather than split.

Very useful playthrough. Thank!
Glad to be of help!
Hope there will be a lot more 😊
@@DavidVALLATif only I can find time :) so far I published two battles - Lutetia and Nicopolis; have you watched both?
Of course, multiple times to learn the rules
@@DavidVALLAT thank you, fantastic!

Hello.
In 28:17 would the Sk received 1 cohesion hit? Because pass over a legion.
6.69 Stacking Charts, line Skirmishers (SK), column "Moving through...", says "no penalty". Thus I think this is correct.
@@mk20336 yes, sorry, you’re right.
@@Jneitor There are so many rules that I am sure I am making mistakes from time to time for sure!
