The differences you can see are- they have chicken tacos on their menu. The differences you can't see- they do not use lard, like Tito's does, in their products. Most people think they taste exactly the same.

So I will put in my 2-cents worth. With Tito's -- service is pretty good. But with Randy's, horrible. Repeat horrible. Good thing the interaction with buying a donut is brief.

We have truly been following in your footsteps! We found your channel looking for Carnival Inspiration videos. We went to Ensenada on the ship this past weekend and took the same wine tour (we booked it before even seeing your review of that!) We also went to Tacos Luceros in Ensenada, which was so authentic and amazing. We went to Tito’s yesterday before heading to the airport and am just watching this video today! My wife is from New Orleans and I’m from Minneapolis, we also have a trip booked to Tokyo this fall! I just recently been to titos like 3 weeks ago & tbh its mad expensive especially the guacamole $10 for a lg guacamole I remember when it was 2.50 granted been going there for over 20 years but still it's not even as good as it use to be. Especially when u buying for 6 ppl who love chips & guacamole u gotta buy at least 2. The one good thing is u get a lg salsa & chips with any order over like $25. So what we do is get 2 orders so we get 2 bags of chips & 2 salsas. On my last visit we spent nearly 100 & that was on 5 burrito 10 tacos & 2 guacamole
$3.95 for a taco in 2019 and that was expensive. $5.65 in 2023. Their prices have increase over 200 percent in the last decade. In 2014 it was 2.60 for a taco. Your basically eating at the McDonalds of taco shop food. They mechanized their operation where they pre make most their food offsite at their commissary kitchen and drive it to there restaurant.
Have you folks ever been to Taco Treat? They are located in Arcadia, they are known for their deep fried bean and cheese burritos, so good it they kind of have a cult following. Give it a try!
I love your iconic LA video's. I grew up going to Tito's with my Grandpa. He would always get a taco, a tostada, and a beef burrito with a rootbeer LOL
They give you that dinky tiny cup of salsa for the tacos and all the chips. You have to order a side of salsa to get enough for all that and the salsa costs more than the tacos. They are just ok but terribly overpriced.
I always see Tito Taco on commercials, but that smile after Bill ate the burrito now makes me want to try. Seems they make better burritos than taco's. Also, Randy's must have raised their prices because its $1.50 for non-special donuts and $2 for the special ones
love your food videos. Great couple. Could I ask if you would consider using a gimbal to stabilize the parts where you are not at the table eating. Probably my old age but watching the video on a large screen TV - some parts of your videos - I get motion sickness due to the quick panning of your iPhone. Otherwise love your videos.
Sorry for the non stabilized shots, dyee. We only hand hold the iPhones, we try and do our best to keep things steady. Most of the pan shots are slow, at lest we think it's slow. lol Upgrading our shooting equipment is probably not in our future as we like to keep things 'on the fly' by just carrying our phones and not a bunch of gear. That said, we'll make an effort to shoot with a bit more stability. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for being honest about Randy's. I live in Cali and people from here all say it's the BEST. They said it is better than Krispy Kreme, but I am here to say it is not. They just opened one in Torrance that I went to and the donuts are expensive for what it is and it tasted underbaked. It is just an OK donut. It's not awful, but I wouldn't recommend it. Krispy Kreme reigns supreme for what it is and cost. Also, if you are in the area of Torrance and can't get to a Krispy Kreme, I'd recommend Moon Donuts. His glazed is actually really good and almost on par with Krispy Kreme glazed just that it is bigger. The owner and baker is also supe friendly and this place sells out fast and I always see people lined out the door every morning that I pass at 7am

You need to hit up Naugle's. They were a big chain of Pseudo-Mexican food that had fries and burgers that serviced up and down California. Now there are two. One in Fountain Valley and one in Newport Beach. Check them out!
I ate there today for the 1st time... my opinion is the price is a bit too much and the burritos is the best a lot of white people come here,so I see the whole picture- still I would come back

Randy's used to be delish up until a couple of years ago. New ownership perhaps, but the donuts definitely aren't worth the wait in line anymore.
No lines on a Tuesday night. lol There were quite a few cars in the drive-thru though.
Went there last year to try it. Overrated imo and not worth the commute to Culver City.
Agreed that it's not the best tacos, but is a LA landmark. Same goes for Randy's.
