What an incredibly detailed review. You were really thoughtful here in providing the kind of extra details people always want to know, but few provide. Well done. And thank you!
Thanks for the review on this one. It's very tempting for winter running. The full-on proper gore-tex is a nice feature. I think the double logo on the chest looks like its being reflected back off the camera lens onto the jacket. Either that or off the ceiling.
After looking at the double logo more closely you are correct. Seems to be just a reflection of the camera. Thanks for pointing that out, and thanks for watching.
Thanks for the review, very useful. Just one note: the predecessor of the Norvan LT is not the Norvan SL but the Norvan jacket in Gore-Tex C-Knit discontinued in 2019-20.
I usually reserve my long term review after using the jacket for at least a year or minimum winter and spring where we get the most precipitation here in the north east so far it’s held up pretty will albeit fairly light use. I’ll be honest I tend to use my Patagonia Storm 10 Jacket for almost anything. But with my limited use of this piece so far it handle rain, snow and sleet well. Will probably post a long term review after the spring season
Definitely an XS, short & skinny. 5’8 & 190lbs is short and chunky, & he obviously has space in his jacket, a medium would have fit perfect on him. I’m short and ‘fit’ at 5’8-5’9 165-175lbs. So Small for me. XS is too tight in armpit area
I have not used it for skiing as of yet, but for most the locations here in NY, NJ and PA I believe with proper baselayers or midlayers it will do the job for resort style downhill skiing. My concern would be durability more than anything for beginners, snow in the northeast is more compact and on warmer days the icy surface could potentially give this shell a rough go. From a water resistance standpoint it should do the job.
@@frazze8097 - 10 C is 14 F, the shell is pretty trim and not sure if it will accommodate the appropriate amount of insulation it would depend on your tolerance to cold

You are absolutely correct that was the very first version. Thanks for watching.
I want key pocket and phone pocket. Disappointed that pocket zipper isn’t waterproof . Nice review
Great video! Have you contacted customer services about the reflective logo or is it supposed to be like that?
Do you have a long-term review?
I would primarily be using this jacket for road and trail running in the PNW.

It’s my PNW running jacket!
Love your videos. Greetings from Serbia 🙌
Thanks so much for watching and for the positivity
What size are you wearing and how tall are you? I'm 5"6 and 140 lbs and I'm doubting whether to order the S or XS
I’m 5’8” 190 lbs and I wear a large. Based on your height and weight I would say a small should work. Hope this was helpful.
@@kaisermojica4216 I’m 5’8 and 150 lbs should I still go for a large?
@@Jacob-kv5be based on your weight you will probably be between a small and a medium but sleeve length will also be a factor.
