Jeepers Tyson, another restoration project!?! It'll be epic to have a matching pair of Sherwood Green Legends, looking forward to seeing the project unfold.
This is going to be an awesome revival project! Having a matching sedan to the coupe. Just be sure to sell as a pair if you ever decide to do so to make room for the next Acura projects. Also, your mom had a great taste with the Niche Bella wheels - that was the wheels to have in the late 90s!
Haha, I know, those 18s had fitment issues (8 inches wide, and the Legend requires a very high offset) so the rears rubbed under load or cornering. But the look was def period-correct!
Ah, so now I know what you do when not at the Radwood show - hunting for more Legends! :) Looking forward to seeing another great resto series. Take care!
This is awesome Tyson! The dash on this thing is in great shape, has all the potential! Heck looks like all the gauges work (must be nice) haha. And the music choice has "Legend" in it. You're detail oriented my friend 😁
Haha, you're the only person to notice that about the soundtrack. Always have to have a theme going on! Looking forward to your Legend sedan build too...
And I thought I was crazy recently buying a 2010 TL SH-AWD thinking my 06 RL needed a companion.😅 Keep up the good work, sir. Hope to come visit your Museum someday.
Time stamp 4:25 ish.... I still recall the song playing while I test-drove that Green RL! It was Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" and I fell in love. At the time, it was way over my budget but I had to spring for it! No regrets! You're perhaps the only one I know who has outnumbered me in car ownerships. Atta boy! Sherwood Green, eh? Sure would like to drive it when project completion is realized. ;)
Reminds me of the GS 6spd I once owned. Too many projects is a mixed blessing but I'm glad you're willing to take on this one. Can't wait to see how this one comes out
I admire your dedication to restoring Legend(s). OE parts are getting more difficult for early 90s cars. Hope you can make a video about how deep someone should consider on projects. I am trying not to OCD with perfection on my 95 Civic.
Ah, man, I’m here for the latest restoration journey! Mechanically, at least, it seems things are pretty solid, right? Also, do I spy one of my favorite Acuras from the last 20 years sitting on your property? A CL? Tell us more!! 😄
Love this vid!!! I can't wait to see the whole restoration. I'm a big acura fan, I've owned 3 so far and definitely am interested in any cars you might end up parting ways with. Keep making the awesome acura content
Yayyyy another Legendary Legend ,they’re the best Acura’s imo. I have to say why 😤do people keep doing these red caliper’s. They age and cheapen the car. I also have used The California Duster as a hood prop 😂. And it has the fog lights awesome. Acura used this green color for the legend and it seems quite a bit 🤔. It’s like Honda did with the rosewood color ☺️.
Finally a 'modded' legend in your fleet. I see the OBX headers/stromung exhaust. How about this restoration you make some cool upgrades not just a stock one :) i'm glad edgars car was saved
@@TysonHugie I do have some oem type 2 manifolds and y pipes and cat and muffler just saying… lol. Sadly don’t have a b pipe tho. If I needed obx headers I’d say yes, but sadly I have 2 sets here and now you can buy them new lol no longer discontinued
Did this come from Bernardino? I remember him putting those Jaguar tray tables in the back seats on the ALOE page. I can't wait to see the journey and the results!
Your mom's Legend with the period correct Niche Bellas looked great! As we used to say.... "ballin" Great find on this Legend. Just thought of something as you spoke about your favorites. You not a Vigor guy ?
Love the Vigor! I owned a 1994 GS sedan 5-speed from 2015 through 2020. I had to make some tough decisions and let it go. I only have so many indoor parking spots.
There's no reason to believe this restoration will not turn out exceptionally well after all your gaining quite a bit of experience and have some great resources. But the burning question I'm sure everyone wants answered is... how the heck are you keeping that garage floor so clean!?
I run across the floor with a supermarket-style wide broom first to get the dust bunnies, then hit it with a diluted cleaner like Simple Green and a towel. It needs quite a bit of upkeep!
Hi, excellent video. Congratulations! I would like to know your opinion for a 2016 Acura TLX V6 3.5l? I have this car with 50000miles and I would to know is reliable. Thanks
I found one n was heartbroken it had 107k on it but did carfax n it stated the odometer has less miles than the actual car n now I’m nervous about the whole thing man
Tyson, would you be willing to sell the handset? I have the entire phone set up in my car missing the handset. Funny enough, my car is a carbon copy of this one, a sherwood green '94 GS 6 speed.
Awesome! I don't have the handset anymore unfortunately... I think I donated it to the raffle for this year's National Acura Legend Meet. Love to see some pics of your car if you have any.
@@TysonHugie I've been Honda my whole life. And for me nothing compares to the DA Integra. The B17A is the most rare Honda engine ever produced and The DA got it for 92 and 93💖
I like it! That standard shift is interesting!
Thank you!
Car is in the best hands now. Glad to see the videos coming out now.
Thanks Edgar! More to come :)
Your channel never gets old. I can't wait to see the finished product.
I appreciate that!
Those old pics look pretty damn clear for 90's camera phone tech 😊
Haha those were def not a camera phone! Those were legit film prints 😎
I can't wait to see the progress of this one! Seeing how good the two-door came out, this will be no exception!
Thank you! It will be a fun one for sure!

I'm looking forward towards the outcome of this Legend restoration! Should be interesting.
Same here!
i love hondas from 90s...love their interior and engine..
Agreed!
That’s awesome man. I’ve been slacking on mine but you are giving me motivation. I look forward to the build!
Thank you!

Haha exactly! Timing worked out perfectly to check this baby out while I was in the area. Hope to see ya at this year’s show!
Love how many addons this car has! Especially love the “chromed” wheels and gold center caps!
Haha. Those were the first to go unfortunately. They leaked air due to chrome flaking / pitting.
@@TysonHugie such a common problem such a bummer!
I'm impressed with the condition of that interior for something that sat outside in California, the sun really destroys our headliners and stuff.
Yeah it's not too bad!
Yep! Tyson you are officially the Legend King!! This is going to be another awesome project!
I hope so!
Can't wait to see this project going forward. This is going to be LEGEN - wait for it - Dary. As every time.

Good luck and keep me posted!

Awwwww, CeciLia in the background. Nice. Curious where TiLly's twin was headed too! That one doesn't seem to be THAT big of a project?

6speed legend would be awesome too own someday, especially v6 manual Honda/Acura cars are gone forever.

Hi, I have not owned one of those TLX models yet but from what I understand they are reliable. Hope it serves you well. Thanks for watching.
Hello, good content, how do I know what the GS version is?
16-inch five-spoke wheels, body-color grille surround, Type II 230hp motor, available 6-speed manual transmission, a few other things.
