Nice car, definitely a time capsule from the 90s. They do not make them like they used to. The Acuras now with that big logo on the grill make them look like mid 90s Pontiac Bonnevilles. Love that color too.
Just seeing the interior when he sits in it, brings back memories. Absolute Legend. You are saving this car. It has found its next home. Take good care of it. It'll last decades. You deserve it. Love the video too. Wanna see more
Nothing better than 90s jdm. Classy and fun as shit to drive. Congrats on the purchase and enjoy it man they don’t make shit like this anymore. One piece of unsolicited advice, get the timing belt done if it hasn’t. That’s how I killed my 1994. Great vid
Why this video gotta be 3 days old. I’m ready for the finished finale. Please don’t take too long. I love these. I had 5 of them. 2 sedans and 3 coupes
@@portcitykg I sold my last about 5 years ago. 95 sedan automatic 🤢🤢 It was that so called pearl white with gold emblems. With 127,000mi. If I find a coupe, I may just spend the money to LS swap it and rear wheel drive that bih. Cause that transmission placement is set up for rear wheel drive, but it boggles my brain that it’s still front wheel drive. Like wtf Acura. Give people what they want already. No one asked for the legend to be front wheel drive stupid! Lmao. Either way bro. I’m super happy to see these cars are still respected. Funny how I’m in the market rn currently looking for a 2012-2013 RL. Im just a legend type of guy 🤷🏿♂️
Nice ride. Just seeing your video. Just one advice I have is to clean out that EGR pipe and the back of the intake manifold where the pipe goes. If you're willing to take on cleaning up the pipe, it can be a fun project. I did mine myself
I’ve got 3 Acura’s. My 2005 RL was still called the Honda Legend in Japan. My othe 2 favorite detailing channels are: Apex Detail and Pan the Organizer. Been watching them for 3 years and I’ve learned how to better detail my own Acura’s 👍
Gorgeous car! I will always remember the Legend, I test drove them at the Acura dealership when they came out. It was such a sweet ride and the next upgrade from my Integra.
Going fishbowl 😂. Love that - yeah I'm not into heavy tints either. The wheels are nice too. Some history - at one time these were called the Honda Legends before they rebadged them Acura. These were the last great Acuras with maybe the Acura TL. They have that old solid made in Japan (JDM) feel. I had a 1989 Honda/Acura legend coupe. Solid car too. Congratulations 👏
Nice car with a lot of potential. Hopefully, the body shop will do a quality repair on the rust. The timing belt should be replaced every 72 months or 90K miles, whichever comes first.
We had a black on black here in the West Texas desert and maaaannnn the whole top of the car looked like a bbq grill. Bad bro...my dad shoulda had a garage but he wanted these apartments and without shade the sun kills stuff. I like these wheels better because they are more muscular than our multi-spokes. It just needs fresh suspension struts and maybe even fresh springs and the ride and handling is awesome. Its not a speed demon but its meant to be like a Japanese Jaguar and it does that well.
Tight whip. I've got the exact same one, '94 GS in that sherwood green. Easily one of the best Legend colors by far. Mine is far rougher but it's one of the extremely nrare 6 speed manual sedans. Got it cheap with a broken flywheel but I plan to replace the head gasket and swap the interior to type A black which I've got in storage.
Never power wash your engine use a rag had a 1994 Camry now I drive a 1995 Camry I detail my own car again Never power wash your engine people don't realize you could damage electrical opponents.
18+ mins to explain pretty much you picked up a car... clicked on the video because i had one of those when i was in high school but disappointed with content.
Bro the video is dope🔥🔥🔥 you make a acura legend video when you get one. Why you got to be negative, everybody cant make videos the way you want to make them. Smh
@@DevonDavies-p7f for the Legend in particular, some parts are just discontinued with the car being so old. Mainly interior parts, body parts, and things needed to restore or replace. Parts needed for maintenance are easier to find.
@portcitykg ok but for my 93 honda accord interior parts and body parts are easy to find so is tge acura legend not as common like the accord or something?
Man what a score. The interiors on these cars are such high quality ever surface is soft touch and so clean and easy to use
Thanks. Yea, the interior on the older cars were a lot better!
Not sure how long the tint has been installed, but it most likely protected the leather. These Legends normally have cracks in the front seats.
@@carapprentice yea I’ve seen a lot in pretty bad condition.
