That paint is drippy. Nice work Tyson.
Thanks Rick! Means a lot coming from the paint-master 😎
You be killing these restorations. Amazing job
Thank you!
I love how you restore your cars to OEM! The Legend coupe and sedan were my favorite as a kid growing up
Thank you!
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, amazing transformation! Craft customs knocked it out with that wheel and center piece. 🙌
Appreciate it, thanks Ty!
It's so refreshing to see someone appreciate these cars enough to give them the proper love they deserve . I miss the days when these cars were everywhere
Beautiful transformation!
I saw Jason is back updating his HMC blog. Glad to see him writing again.
I noticed that too! Glad to see it.
Hello Tyson,
Looks superb!!! It so great to see someone (including myself) who has a love Honda/Acura . My 94 Civic is just about ready to come out of hibernation!! 😊
Awesome, post some videos along the way
🚗 car looking fresh my friend awesome 👏🏾 job bravo
Thank you!
Nice 👍, I’m glad I found your videos again 🙏
Thank you!
This thing's looking so good now!
Thanks Avery!
Nice job and beautiful car! Makes me miss my 5-speed Legend.
Thank you!
Car looks amazing!! That console, steering wheel and the sherwood green look perfect!!! Can't wait to see the final reveal.. Great job Tyson !!!
It is getting there, I appreciate it my friend!!
Somehow, every time I watch one of your videos, my own Legend to-do list gets longer 😂. Awesome job with everything!
Thanks Richard! Happy to be a good (or bad) influence with all this stuff, haha
Awesome video- that’s some serious forensic csi work you do on the history of these cars ..
Haha I've been part of the community too long!
"No disassemble!" Haha. Too bad it didn't make it 1000 more miles -- wink. Good stuff.
Johnny 5!
That legend had a rough life 😢, but it’s funny how you had TL rims on your legend coupe when it was beside the legend from the salvage yard in the pic and that’s what the salvage legend had in the trunk 😳. Anyway I love how you have made your legend gs sedan flawless 🤩
Haha yes, those TL wheels were a popular Legend upgrade back in the day!
Wood trim and wheels look amazing, incredible job restoring these legends. Respect
Thank you!
Love this!!!
Thank you!
She's come a long way. Great job, looks superb!
Yes! Thank you!
Congrats Tyson, the wood trim and the work on the wheels make it look incredible. And the paint looks like it came straight from the factory
Thank you!
Oh man, the Acura looks so nice, but man ... that truck looks soooo sweet! Damn!
Haha, thanks, I am having fun with it.
Everything is looking great 😎
I care about gas caps lol and would only use OEM caps.
Haha, glad you can relate
Man this sedan is coming out so beautiful!! You make me want to do one OEM build! Keep up the good work Tyson!
Thanks B, I appreciate it!
She's clean
Getting there!!
Top quality restoration. Your night job must pay you $$$$!
Haha, thank you
OMG Wes's old car! thats a varex muffler the same I have on my legend... id be there pulling that and the cluster, the 6 speed stuff and the fogs and clear corners. tell me you got some of those long lost goodies!
Yes! Wayne a Ferd. The steering wheel was stuck all the way up so I didn’t have good enough access to get the cluster using the tools I had with me.
@@TysonHugie oh Wayne’s car, I thought Wes’s car outta Cali. I didn’t know what color Wayne’s car was but we Snapchat about stuff. Now I have to pick on him and be like hey what the heck haha.
The one on our showroom is gorgeous!
This one will end up there too!
She looks amazing bro I can't wait to find me a legend it's must be 6 Speed this what I learned how drive stick on every sense never had a automatic except my SUV but cars were always stick
Awesome, well if you want this one I'll be selling it
@@TysonHugie how much
I have that jdm Alpha grill on my daily KA7. It is unbelievable for me to see what sits just at the junk yard in the US. Six speed and electric steering column was never an option in Germany. I would like to grab that stuff.
Interesting how different markets got different equipment.
Beautiful transformation.. The other day, I came across a pristine Charcoal Granite (I think that is the paint code..) up here in BC, and it reminded me of your collection.
Oh I saw your IG story about that! Clean!
I think I know which one you're talking about, I believe it was for sale in the last year. I never went and looked at it because a legend just hasn't been in the budget yet again lol
Need to get my Sherwood green accord repainted now 😮
Dooo it
Clean 👊🏿
Thank you!
Very Very good 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Love It!!!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉
Thanks Thomas!
Just saw this at hon-man
Haha yes!
Sad about that 6spd in the yard. Looks like it was rebuild from the primer colored fenders, bumper and hood. Nice score on those rare parts though! Just can't believe someone would paint over an awesome green to a boring silver...
I agree! Glad I could snag a few things off it.
Man, I’m ALL out of order catching up on your vids! Great to see this car’s restoration and return to its former glory. The wheel and center console came out AMAZINGLY! Is the carpet on the dash a permanent addition, or just a temporary protectant?
Oh just temporary while the car is out and about seeing sun frequently. I think dash mats are not attractive but I've seen what UV rays do to interiors around here!
Did you use Wheel Specialists in Tempe? They quoted me way too high for my TSX and Si wheels, so I used Desert Coating on 35th and Lower Buckeye. If you ever need to redo wheels with powder, they did an awesome job on both for $90 a wheel. I'll be dropping off my OG DC Race Header for them to recoat in the coming weeks
I had these done over at Express Powder Coating at about 67th Ave & Indian School. They do high quality stuff but it isn't cheap.
💯
Thank you!
i know where there is a super low mileage coupe legend, manual, in north phoenix. Hit in the front but car is pristine inside and outside.
Would love to hear more about that. You can email me at tysonhugie@yahoo.com
Man that’s a good looking car! The console and steering wheel came out perfect 🔥 I was wondering if you were gonna grab that fog switch. lol for sale?
Thank you, yes if you're interested in that switch let me know!
@@TysonHugie yes how much are you selling it for?
Crafts did a great job making that steering wheel in to a burl wood finish . I will need to contact them to remodel mine. Where did you get your dash cover from?
I can't remember where I got that dash mat. I think it was "Dash Care." Like 50 bucks. I won't use it when the car is at shows or events. It's just for times when I have the car parked in the sun for extended times like when I know it's going to be at the mechanic for a week or two.
What refinishing process was done for the wheels? Looking to restore mine back to factory shine like yours
It's a service that costs about $200-250 per wheel where they actually machine the wheel down and completely refinish it, then add a clear coat. The shop is called Express and they are located here in Phoenix.
Ty? I would love to get that steering Wheel fo my LS. So could you add links to where you get some of your Parts? Great Job!
Sure, the steering wheel was custom made by Craft Customs in Texas
It's nice having a truck isn't it?!?!
Yes! Don't know how I survived without one for so long!
Tyson, love your videos. With your love for legends, have tried to source a JDM C20A turbo Honda Legend? I know of only one in the USA.
Not yet! That would be cool to own.
Tyson, are you going to tint the Legend? To me it would complete the car!
I don't think so, I am going to sell the car and will leave it up to the buyer to do that if they want!
@@TysonHugie Where are you going to sell it. I might be interested.
What is that brown mat at dashboard? It looks nice!
That's just to keep the sun off it. Yes it's kind of a soft velour material.
I wish companies would stop using packing peanuts. Bad for the customer, wild animals and the environment. I need to respray my 95 Civic (last item on the restoration). I'm debating to go for glass finish or OEM peal look. I think the latter is much harder for the painter to achieve.
I like glass smooth!
