My daughter is Frances and they met in a local arts / music high school and were in the Toronto Children's Chorus together as well. Agree its a beautiful song, alot of people find their way here who love this Rutter song. Best,

Beautiful harmonies and not easy to perform but not only did you sing it perfectly you look happy and relaxed which makes all the difference. Nice piano work too!
I just heard Angels Carol by Ruby Emillar played on BBC Radio 2 which won her young chorister of the year in 2021. It was so beautiful that I seached on TH-cam and found this wonderful version. It is every bit as good with Emily and Frances wonderful harmonies. It transports me back to all the school carol concerts and plays that I sang in in christmas's past. Brilliant work girls and of course the pianist.
I have this saved as a favorite so I can listen to it every Christmas as it's by far the best performance of the duet I've ever heard. I hope Emily and Frances are well. Best wishes to all of you this holiday season!

This is one of my favourite pieces of music, and I've heard it many times (including a recording by my sister's choir), but this is an absolutely lovely version, beautifully sung (and played). Lovely.

Didn't before, but just found a choral upload and heard it for first time, and copied Frances to consider for this year's recital. It is indeed beautiful.
Way too rushed confirmed by the pianist screwing up. The speed takes away the beauty and gentleness of this carol. Poor girls trying to keep up with that. Slow it down a touch.
