The pure Android stock experience are so much better and smoother than the custom OS and UI. Both are good but i think if you want the best device with stock Android.. Buy a Nexus.

osamaFXX moto phones are awesome. because it's stock Android with a few moto apps. plus you get an FM radio. I don't use it that much but it's there and it's free

But i just realised that what the google play editions of HTC one & GS4. but what i like more is the og stock Samsung GS4 & GS5 launcher & better than the Nova launcher ngl

You can still download Samsung WatchOn on the Google play edition, just search it in the play store and all the GS4 apps will be there
They should do this kind of stuff A LOT MORE now.. apart from the Pixel phones

HTC One is actually cheap quality, if you head on over to AndroidAuthority's drop test for the HTC One, the speaker grill is plastic and popped right off during the drop revealing a bunch of glue behind it.

This is why I like apple better. They don't poop out phones every few months like samsung does. Like when you buy a s4 a few months later it will be already outdated and your stuck with it for 2 years.

I really envy you peeled the plastic off from HTC One... I want to do that right now :) Great video over all but I have one question... I have heard some manufacturing issues with HTC. Can you help me with some research on this ? I think what I have read on internet is nothing but an attempt to degrade HTC... Your one line reply would be really appreciated.. why do people ever buy a white phone? its so easy to see blemishes, scratches, dirt, and imperfections....not to mention the fact that it never, ever, ever matches any case / cases you'll want...and you'll want cases to protect a white phone. lastly, they're ugly! show us the darker ones!
Wow, Samsung has ripped off apple so much on the packaging of their products. The box is the same, the way everything is wrapped up and sorted is the same, and the headphones look the same...some people love Samsung but you can't deny that they borrow heavily from apple
More people use iOS more than Android its a fact, go research it! Android and Apple have said this many times in their presentations that iOS have more people using it than Android (Android - shittest operating system ever created known to man)
i'm not a fan of how to htc one feel the same goes for the iphone the metal is nice but to me it just doesn't feel good in the hand the edges need to be more rounded and wgen sitting it on a table and using it it doesn't lay flat which i also hate.
At least with companies like HTC and Samsung and Sony try to make their devices a different experience to what most of are used to. Whether those experiences are good or not ("cough" samsung) is up to the consumer.
I have a s4 and I was wondering if you could update a normal galaxy s4 and if I can how to get the google play version because my moms s2 just automatically updated to the google play version but my s4 wont
Both the phone have stock android but both WILL NOT BE DIRECTLY UPDATED BY GOOGLE! Htc and samsung will update the phones. Don't expect to have the latest version of android the day one the nexus will have it.
In the video the gs4 Google edition was so much brighter with a whiter display opposed to the HTC one which had a yellower tint. But yet you still day that the HTC ones display is better. Wtf
Google Play Editions phones are sold via the Google Play Store (like the Nexus devices currently are), but will have software updates delivered by the OEMs, rather than Google.
here's a really good idea when you review a new phone, use it to watch one of your videos then on your next video use the previous video over and over again if you know what i mean
these two phones also came out about a half year later than the iPhone O.o so yes, they did copy a lot of things from the iPhone: Stainless Steel Band, aluminum backing, etc.
I can't choose which one but I've had all galaxy s devices so far so I'll make change and get the one. Although I would want a menu button and a micro SD card slot.

Curved back on the One almost kills it for me. ..phone annoyingly rocks back on forth when placed on a flat surface. You can even see it from this video. Almost perfect :|
you realize samsung isnt like apple and throws at a phone every year they have many phone lines not just the iphone like apple does. (and at least samsung innovates)

I think the HTC looks better and the Samsung has more power. I would pick HTC just by looks. The Samsung sure looks cheap yet costs nearly as much as the HTC.
Gs4 is better I have both the HTC one and gs4 I have saled because the HTC one is only famous for his beats all the other stuff are copied from I phone 5
HTC one would be legendary if it wasn't for their bullshit 4 ultra(mega pixel) camera... Let's wait with the gs3 for the next 3 years to see the next gen.

He's obv 12 yrs old. The android is beyond customizable you can't beat open source especially with the raw talent some android developers have.

given that both phones are from google play, does samsung accept the GS4's warranty and does the htc still accept htc one's warranty?
They wont get the updates as soon as the nexus devices they will get them quicker but not as quick as a nexus cause it istn a nexus.

Unlocked version doesn't say Galaxy s4, the google edition is unlocked. the side bezles look just fine.
